My S18 will be delivered later this month and this range test really makes me happy. I’m in Minneapolis, which is a small city. Even with a few friends in St. Paul, 40 miles is no problem for me to get anywhere and back. Thanks for sharing!
Just be wary that trail riding will use more battery than on paved roads as keeping you upright over rocks, roots and ramps takes a lot more current than merely on the flat 😊
I prefer my MSX over the S18 unless I'm doing very bumpy trails or jumping. I still want the Sherman more than the S18 probably can't afford it this year though.
wow, what a beautiful place! I can't wait till my vacation next week! hey do you think there's enough space between the sub-fender and the tire to put on a knobby? I'm waiting for mine and planning to put a knobby tire on it like my MSX due to the terrain I normally ride. It looks super tight though...sigh~
@@FlyboyEUC that was what I was afraid of. I'm puzzled as to why KS didn't put a knobby tire on an offroad wheel....and Gotway puts on a knobby tire on Sherman which definitely is a street wheel. These guys seemed to have no clue what kind of tire is appropriate for their wheel. Sigh-
@@1floatwheel I think KS didn't anticipate the S18 being categorized as offroad. That said, I'm one will be able to find an appropriate knobby to fit. FWIW a thinner knobby won't necessarily perform worse & may infact perform better.
@@scottsum1319 there's an offroad tire that I really love in the 18x3 inch category which is good for on road and offroad. I'm not interested in putting on anything else because normally offroad tires are dangerous on the road, especially on unicycle.
If you are referring to Marty's range test on the v11 there are 2 things to remember: he weighs more than me, and also he had 30% battery at the end of his test. The only reason he didn't continue was because he couldn't figure out how to un-tilt the wheel.
What do you mean? Its more comfortable than any wheel but the Nikola because it doesn't have a handle digging into your butt. It's a deep squat like the MSX.
It's the Chinese brand Fox motorcycle jacket I bought off Amazon for $45 they are all the same. I really like the jacket but would like better shoulder protection.
Thanks for sharing this! I enjoyed the ride!
Jimmy! I've seen you comment on a lot of kingsong S18 videos. When are you buying and reviewing yours? lol.
Great video! Surprisingly impressive range for that size battery. I love your commentary and trivia along the ride.

Great test - thanks for the work. 40 mile range at 20mph - pretty good for a relatively small battery.
nice man, really enjoy the view & glad someone did a range test for KS18
Great execution of the range test!
Great range test of the S18.
That bike path is incredible.
Gosh that looks good. Beautiful video
I think this is my favorite video you've done! Loved it!
Nicely done! That's not bad for such a small battery. Very patient of you to keep those speeds the whole way!
Usually my range tests are on flat ocean bike paths and are really boring. This one was so beautiful it was actually nice to take it slow.
Great video! Suck a lovely place and an amazing bike trail. Still waiting for my S18 to arrive so in the meantime enjoying others adventures.
Can't wait for mine!!!.
Wow that’s good range ,enough for those who likes to cruise around ! Thanks for showing us this video.👍
Great video range test , I love this area. Thank you
Cool video! I love those roads!
Nice to see someone in stg riding. I live here too. V11 arriving shortly.
18,5 mph average is really fast riding speed. if you get 41miles going at such speed, you can easily get 50+ miles at low speed
Nice video and very beautiful place! 😀
Great test drive! I wish we have same roads in Russia!
Great vid!
Stunning wheel....still will wait for a model with bigger battery
40miles is impressive real world range for a 1.1k wh battery. Should cover most of the MTB trails/paths I'm planning to ride on.

Nice video...cant wait to get my
Very good ^^*
Pretty amazing and Nice landscapes ! so was it comfortable enough ?
Does the suspension make a big difference in comfort? Will you go back to a no suspension euc ? I’m thinking of getting this or the Sherman

No space at all unless you shaved off all the knobs or put a 2.5" wide tire on there (maybe?).

So pretty close to V11 range. Impressive!

Thanks for the Video
