You do know that it's easier to perfect block using jumping buffer right? And safer as well. Since you have I-frame when you jump, you can use jumping to make sure to avoid damage then block immediately after. It makes royal blocking timing much easier. That being said, I have no doubt Donguri could just stand block as well.
Jump guarding is actually really good and if you want to use royal guard I suggest jump/roll guarding into attacks. I think Donguri displays more impressive usage of royal guard just by standing there since there is more risk in stand guarding

I noticed that Cerberus’s arena is meant to amplify the powers of King Cerberus himself. You have water and wires on the floor. (Obviously meant to conduct electricity, and freeze easily) As with fire, It’s a hard arena reset.
If he was never getting hit in Normal or easy difficulty then it wouldn't be impressive, but the damage the bosses are taking is too low to be anything else than DMD

Honestly Donguri seems more of a Dante guy. I think he only runs Vergil on occasion for the fans bless him. You can just tell his playstyle isnt suited for the other characters. I can especially tell he doesnt much like Nero outside of what he can do in that Vergil fight.
