Great videos! I've been trying to work out a process to recreate the beechnut shape in ancient Greek and Roman jewelry, and the gold example you showed in the very beginning was quite similar. The "spine" over the ear wire seemed more pronounced...did you fold-form it at all? Cheers!

Love those beechnut shapes! I didn't fold form but working either side of the spine makes it more pronounced. ;)
