I don't really share too much of my personal life online but when I'm not playing games, filming videos or working, I've actually been doing a lot of bike riding! I bought this ZiZZO Urbano folding bike last year at the height of the pandemic and it turned out to be the best invest that I ever made. Do you have something that you use to get out more/clear your mind?
I just play games or watch shows I like to clear my mind
I bought my Urbano this year and it is a joy to have
Do you recommend any fenders for this Zizzo? I’m planning to buy one to take the bus and ride to work in Manhattan. Zizzo Liberte has a good sale now! I was looking also for Dahon Vybe D7
Like you, I bought a Zizzo and immediately fell in love with it. I’ve had racing and mountain bikes but the 20 inch wheels said “I’m having fun, forget the spandex.” My wife tried it and now loves her own Zizzo. The one change I made was switching to Schwalbe lower profile tires (less resistance) as 99% of my riding is on paved roads. Great video, Keep it up.
Which tires did u buy? thanks
An amazing bike, love it! So convenient to take with you anywhere you go. Great video Ray 🤗🎮🤗
Thank you for sharing, I happily live in a studio and really need this in my life❤️😊💯
Great review, thanks for sharing! Do you have any other folding bike you would recommend?
I wish you a lot of success with the channel and happy life.
I have a similar looking 20" 7 speed Enda bike I bought back in 2011 and it's still riding well. I would definitely recommend putting Schwalbe marathon tires on it, continental inner tubes, and ODI bmx style grips for confort.
Cool bike and review. My friend has the Liberte model and loves it. Goes to show the big boys Brompton, Dahon and Tern. Aren't the only guys who can male great folders.
I'm close to buying Liberte ( I was close also to Dahon Vybe D7 that came with fenders ) but I will need fenders to ride in Manhattan
It looks great and, it reminded me with my first bike in the 70's.
I wonder how this compares with the Dahon?
Also what is the difference between Zizzo models ?
They have Urbano and Forte which supports up ton300lb but heavier frame (29lb)
Thanks great review really and I like your accessories.
Thumbs up from Toronto.
Just FYI, i got 2 of zizzo folding bikes and managed to fit both of them in the trunk of my VW GTI mk7 without folding the rear car seats down. I had to stand them up and remove the hatch back trunk cover though, but they fit, just barely.
Like a dunce, I bought this beast of an electric scooter, only to find it’s too heavy to carry and too stealable to park. I should have gotten a bike like this.
I'm at this point now. I am getting the Zizzo because it makes so much more sense plus I can take in Traffic
Nice folding and time. I like this bike.
I got my zizzo around the same time as you last year. How is the chain holding up for you? Have you had to clean/lube it?
it doesn't make sense that it doesn't climb. The smaller wheels make the gearing very low. I have one. they climb like goats.
Got the campo Two each😂😂😂fits right in the back and doesn’t need to be folded but I could if I want to. Fun ride for a more refined person
have you thought of converting it to an ebike? i'm thinking of doing it to my Urbano but not sure what motor fits well with it.
I’m looking for a folding back for my work commute. I have a standard back with a rear rack which is a must for me. Can a rear rack be added to this bike?
Hi where did you get those pedals???
What saddle do you have? Is it comfortable?
how much total distance you were ride in 1 year?
I just bought the red Zizzo Urbano and has so far put a big smile on my face for everytime I ride it.
The only thing I may change is a better more comfortable saddle.
How much do you inflate your tires?
Mine are 60 rear and 55 front, but somehow they feel too hard to the squeeze of my fingers.
You inflate it to the PSI mentioned on the sidewall of the tire. It is not the squeeze of your fingers that matter. Is the ride easier or are you pedaling harder to ride?
@@anocri pedalling is nice as long as it is not any uphill.
@@MegaAluchi Your pedaling is (and the bike performs) the best and easiest when you inflate the tire to the PSI on the tire sidewall; of course, on the assumption that you are doing the routine maintenance of the bike such as lubing, greasing. If you are filling in less air than the mentioned PSI, you are pedaling relatively harder. If you are filling in more air than the mentioned PSI, there is a greater chance of tire puncture when it hits something sharper (it's like you are trying to eat more than your stomach can take). My two cents.
I'm between the Urbano and the lighter Liberté. I'm curious how you landed on Urbano out of the Zizzo line.
I have both bikes, here's a synopsis I had written up already so here's a copy and paste answer....
Here's a quick synopsis of the differences:
1. The saddle (Urbano seat is much more comfy than the Liberte)
2. The hand grips (once again the Urbano wins with a beefier handrest, Liberte has just light round grips).
3. Bottom bracket (Liberte wins this one with an upgraded bottom bracket)
4. Tires/Rims/Axles - Liberte has 1,5" high pressure tires with quick-release axles/hubs (lighter weight);
Urbano has 1.9" tires with nutted axles/hubs (heavier weight)
The frames are identical along with the Shimano Revo grip shifter, Shimano Altus derailleur, Promax brakes/cable/levers. chain, pedals are all the same.
Liberte weighs 23 pounds but forfeits a comfy seat and hand grips and has narrower tires (good for pavement or hard pack trails)
Urbano weighs 24 pounds but has a comfortable seat and grips, plus a wider tire that's heavier weight but offers more options on rough terrain.
My opinion is I prefer the Urbano for it's comfort on the saddle and hand grips, also the wider tires is more forgiving on varied terrain (I've ridden extensively on dirt trails/paths/roads).
I did have my Urbano bottom bracket bearings repacked (was making noise) earlier this year at the bike shop during my annual checkup, not a big expense. No other problems, just a cleaning, tune-up and derailleur adjustment is all I needed.
Whoops, there was one other change I did on my Urbano, my tires were running thin and I replaced them with Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires 1.75"x20", I always replace all my bicycle tires with Marathon Plus and I've never had a flat in almost 20 years. I guess I just jinxed myself! I also added a pair of fenders (from Zizzo) and they have worked out quite nicely
Last note, my wife rides the Liberte and she does like it a lot (we changed out the seat)
Zizzo Urbano & Liberte are both nice bikes, going beyond the other models there is a quite a decrease in components (and frames) as the price decreases.
I brought a Liberte and a campo. Love my Liberte, I picked Liberte over Urbano because I ride mostly on paved road, and it was on sale at Costco for only 350.
Van you leave the handles up and roll it inatead of carrying it?
hi may i ask how many diameters is the stem of the handle bar.. i wanted to attach a thule yepp mini bike seat for my child.. I couldn’t find any articles mentioned it.. thanks I will really appreciate your reply it would be a great help
One inches in diameter. Check their website it is listed there
Folding it cool. You amaze me with your videos. Unexpected haha. Dope bike. It looks too big for me.
shift to 1st gear on the steep hill , practice
Nice
What do you keep the tire pressure at on your Urbano?
It says on the tire. Go with it.
What is the range on this
Is it waterproof?
When you put your bike in the trunk, which side goes down?
The bike should not lie on the derailleur, so always keep the right side (derailleur side) up with nothing lying on top of the derailleur.
you should test ride a Brompton
The saddle you upgraded to is the same Amazon crap rebranded 1000s of times. I have the same seat on my junk Next Gauntlet MTB. The better seat is the Cloud 9.
Wish there was straps to carry this in a backpack form
Ouch!
Can you put a bike rack on the back?
Yes the sell a rack for this bike just do a simple search and you will find it
Can you hook up child trailer to this bike?
I’m wondering the same thing
What’s up with the mask?
Sadly its one weakness is what’s most important here in mountainous OR.
He’s wrong about the climb issue. Not sure how that is possible but he is. Wheel size affects gears. Small wheel bikes climb like goats. They are wonderful on hills. Your gearing ratio will factor in like any bike no matter the size of the wheels. Nonetheless, small wheeled bikes are geared lower (easier) before you even factor that in. I have had many. This was a horrible review for that reason alone.
@@Sharetheroad3333 Alright random internet commenter, I'll be sure to take your word for it instead of the guy who actually used and tested the product.
I use my liberte in Boyle Heights which is a hilly neighborhood in Los Angeles! I’ve had it for about two years now.
It looks so small lol but I ordered it
That's what she said?
@@anocri 😂
Why you look like Tom Falton 🤔
*4:30** Come on man, your watch says your average speed was 76 MPH. You're telling me you went 76 MPH on a bicycle? LOL*
i think that's 7.6 big tex
Ring a bike with a mask on. lol
Why you cycling with your musk on.
Why not
mask not musk
I ment his aftershave.
@@johncolquhoun6416 LOL
It is recommended here in Canada even outdoors. It safety for the Covid-19 pandemic
This sounds too much like a sales pitch and someone got sponsored LOl
Muricans talk so fast.
Unfortunately I can’t take you seriously if you wear a mask outdoors.
I thought the same. I wear masks, however if you're by yourself and not near crowds, a mask while riding is unneeded. It's the equivalent of wearing a mask in your car while driving by yourself. Sole exception is if you're an Uber driver or other public transport.
I feel so comfortable wearing a mask, I wear it everywhere. To me, it has nothing to do with the virus anymore, I just like the anonymity aspect of the mask.
