When you go back to bf homes try: Gourmet palate (charbroiled) Romantic baboy (fairly new in bf, compared to others that i recommend) Jeannies in phase 3 (gotong batangas) now called antonia's. Also the eatery in phase 1 near the palengke at the back of "one stop" no particular food but they have quality local dishes and very cheap. (You have to be on time though coz they only serve lunch so be there at 11am coz if you go there 2pm or 3pm usually they are out of food and closing.) - if you want fishballs, quekquek etc. Try the one in tropical palace near the school. Its just the typical tusok tusok but the juice they sell are really good. - sinangag express for late night eating. - little quiapo for local dishes Most of the one's i recomended are the old school resturants and eatery in bf. Enjoy 🤙
I love how genuine your reactions are when tasting the food! It makes me drool when you start eating cause you eat with so much gusto. I’m a culinary student and seeing you describe the flavors just gives me chef instructor vibes from you! Love you and your shows Jessica! I wish you all the best and God bless!!! ❤️
Hi Jessica. If you're allergic to peanuts, I would recommend having an EpiPen with you at all times since you do food vlogs regularly. It's a life-saver. Stay safe!🙂
For this sauce, we used soy sauce as the base, then added chili oil, sesame seeds, sesame sauce, spring onion, and garlic. The sesame sauce, particularly, is one of their popular sauces so we decided to give it a try. It's just the right amount of sweet and spicy, with a subtle hint of pungent and garlicky. I hope This Helps❤
Hah, I wrote this on your channel a few weeks or months ago :D did you also do another haunted house tour with Ate Lia, as I suggested? (Nightmares Manila) :D would be so funny, really :) About being empty - this is, because of its nature as gated community, really a place where you would have to go at after-work-hours to find enough people. Otherwise you're out of luck mostly. But that leading to the concept of going with a subscriber who is really local there, was great. You can do this more often if you find an outgoing person who can interact and is not to shy :) On the other hand, after recommending it, watching the video, I realized that the price range is not on your usual paborito price range. Maybe always find one super mura place each episode, then also people who have to watch for their money a bit more, will be happy. Of course the food was all worth its price, but its a price thats not affordable to many filipinos. The second interview person is a bit out of touch with the term "affordable" for a filipino
I love this episode! Quality convo with the people there, as well the recommended restos are also good! Nice watching you eating with a subscriber randomly and got kilig naman with the boss you talked with. Hihi actually even ate reco the tablo is so entertaining to watch 😁
Thanks for creating videos like these. You actually help small restaurant owners and non famous restaurant owners market their businesses. Hope you can help more. And more videos like these.
Hi Jessica, I’m a fan. You should try in “paborito paborito” in our province which is BATANGAS. You had one episode, that you liked BATANGAS authentic food like lomi and chami. 😊 you should visit BATANGAS! We have so much to offer in your paborito paborito episode ❤ Sending love from 🇨🇦 ❤
There used to be a Korean Hotpot at BF Homes, 10+ years ago with the name of Shabu Yaki, we frequent those with my family and friends for their authentic hotpot and so many Korean nationals go there too. Sadly, the store closed down and not sure what happened to it. The owner was also Korean. When I search now on Google maps, there is a Shabuyaki restaurant but location in Malate, I am not sure if that’s the same one. Anyway. Nice episode Jessica, hope you can help find more good korean hotpots around more! Thanks and enjoy!
As someone who has lived in BF Paranaque from 1989 to 2016 and BF Resort till now (which is just a short drive away), I agree with Jessica's paborito choice. Drive-By Taco Shop is among the best Mexican places I've ever eaten. Us living in the Southern Metro are so lucky to have plenty of good restaurants near our homes.
By far the BEST paborito episode. This showed great recommendations that I could also go to in BF Homes. But besides that, I enjoyed this episode because of just seeing your pure reaction on the food and how your eyes just glimmer in happiness of it. Lol will definitely try the hotpot and the drive-by when I go back home in the Philippines. Thank you Jessica and for the staff on your hard work as always. Yours, your Manliligaw 😊
I've lived in BF for 3 decades. Its evolved quickly and more than what was expected. We see a variety of restaurants and bars that cater to several different cuisines. I say its also a good place to find good food to eat but the reality is, this is a place that's so bad to invest in. Since its a gated community, the market these restos cater are pretty much the same. They would flood your doors in the first several months from when you open then once you hit your peak, everything goes downhill from there which is why we see a large amount of turn over of businesses.
Kahit ako nahirapan pumili ng paborito! Hahaha and I didn't even tasted it but just based on jessica's description. Will try that mexican taco shop next time!
I super love Jiangnan hotpot bec of the their signature sauce. I love it with the peanut sauce but i would love to try next time without the peanut sauce for a change. The 1st time i ate here few months ago, i never craved for samgyup anymore. I always crave for Jiangnan hotpot
I have a strong fondness for this series. It provides me with valuable insights that help me determine the best dining options for my future visits to this place.
Halo halo mixing tip: I may have to show this, it’s hard to articulate it in text! Flip the spoon with its face towards you. Shove the spoon in, against the inside of the glass’s wall (not in the middle). Don’t move your spoon around, just keep it in one spot, and do a short but repetitive up and down motion (just enough up and down that no stuff spills over). The stuff should mix evenly with minimal spills!!
Love this episode! I missed going to BF, The last time I went there was in 2017 or 2018. This is the famous place to visit in the south if you want to have a food adventure. I'm from Las Pinas so it was just now that I'm living in Cavite it is kind of a challenge to go there. But seeing this I think I might visit again soon.
@@dongshengdi773Okay I see your point. Well, the price was reasonable for the quality, but of course too much for most filipinos. I suggest to have at least one super-mura location in the episodes - then everyone is happy. She should watch too not slide into a price range too high over the time, though Because once you tasted the quality of the dishes there it can be tempting to do more expensive paboritos :D
everytime may upload si jessica…. naiisip ko haba naman pero dahil magaling syang vlogger nakakalimutan ko lagpas na pala ng 20minutes pinapanood ko…..
Please do a vlog about HORI7ON. They are all-filipino global pop group who are based and trained in South Korea by MLD Entertainment. They have just debuted last July 24, 2023 and they have performed on all famous music shows in South Korea like Mnet, The Show, Inkigayo and etc. They also have released their album and its called "Friend-Ship" with 21 songs. Hoping that you'll take time to watch and react to this all-filipino global pop group. Thank you! 😊
I definitely agree that Jiang Nan is the best hotpot I have tasted. I give it a plus also that Jiang Nan taste good in each of their branches not just that one in BF, but also the one in Banawe. Bec sometimes other restau with diff branches taste diff. You get what I mean? So yeah! Best hotpot.
Okayyy... now gusto ko nalang sumugod sa BF homes this weekend para itry yung taco 😍 I already tried jiangnan makati at talaga namang dabest yung signature sauce mga bhie!! Mapapalaban kayo sa unli hotpot. 😂 try nyo yung mga balls if ever. Masarap si cheeseballs at sea urchin balls 👌
next time you go back to BF Homes, try “Eat Fresh”! An authentic Chinese restaurant that has great taste and affordable prices. I recommend their siomai, pancit, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, and buttered chicken.
i honestly dont like salted egg, but ive tried salted egg flavored chicken and carbonara, ALL ARE BOMBBBBBS!!!! the best and super yummy. plus hello naman kay BOSS na bumili pa ng tusok tusok and nag thank you na nakangiti kay manong guard hehe. not all BOSS are like that anooo. baket parang gulat na gulat ka sa pag payong ni sir guard po, jessica 😂 but anw, wow all the foods youve tried here!!!! will defo try them soon
THIS IS ONE OF MANY PROBLEMS IN THE PHILIPPINES, THE LACK OF SIDEWALKS IN MOST STREETS. THE COUNTRY WILL BE A BETTER PLACE TO GO OUT TO WINE AND DINE, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE LACK OF SIDEWALKS FOR TOURISTS, EXPATS, BALIKBAYANS, LOCAL & FOREIGN TOURISTS TO WALK WITHOUT BEING AT RISK. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD LOOK AT THIS TO MAKE THE COUNTRY MORE ATTRACTIVE TO TOURISTS.
Philippines has poor urban planning. It pattened itself after LA, not thinking of common people but car owners. Now LA is rebuilding the city with more railroads and subways like walkable New York. I'd say we're 150 years behind as I notice the world is building more railraods but Philippines is still building roads, an archair idea that is definitely not Filipino commuter-friendly. We have to learn from Japan, too but I think the reason gov't is building more roads because car manufacturers have so much power in PH.
Big fan of both Tablo and Jiang Nan in Timog and Banawe. Tablo's pricing translates well to the quality and amount of food and their impeccable customer service. We always come back there. And Jiang Nan is hot pot executed very well with a really good price point. Both places are really one of the paboritos
Most people go there by tric because you would need a sticker to enter. And a sticker for non-residents costs, IIRC, P2500. But that was before pandemic price what a grab driver told me.

The South food choices you tried is just the TIP of the iceberg. South Metro Manila is a one unique gem of food choices. Alabang, BF Homes Parañaque, and BF Resort Village Las Piñas have great local food spots!!
Hi jessica, Next paborito episode, try villamor brgy 183 pasay city near naia terminal 3. Best time 6pm onwards. Marami ding options ng food. Mostly ang community are from hotel and airport personnel.

Truee tapos halatang ang humble pa ang kulit lang parang sya pa nahiya nun pinayungan sya ni kuya 😂
When you go back to bf homes try:
Gourmet palate (charbroiled)
Romantic baboy (fairly new in bf, compared to others that i recommend)
Jeannies in phase 3 (gotong batangas) now called antonia's.
Also the eatery in phase 1 near the palengke at the back of "one stop" no particular food but they have quality local dishes and very cheap. (You have to be on time though coz they only serve lunch so be there at 11am coz if you go there 2pm or 3pm usually they are out of food and closing.)

This comment should be pinned! Up on this!😊
EpiPen is a must if you have allergies and you're traveling. 👍
YES TRUE. epipen is a life saver.
Definitely..
now that i knew of her allergy, parang ako yung nababahala sa foodventures nya 😅
BF Homes needs Part 2 and 3!! Madami pang masarap na you can only find here in BF. 😊
Yep. BF Homes are a gem. Also Alabang and BF Resort Village.
Yes!!! Sensei sayang not included Chef Ricketts
Hard lang to get there because of the gates / stickers

What a great choice to eat with the first subscriber! Hahah I liked how she was so articulate and I felt she was comfy on cam hehe. Cute!!
Tablo is not normal for Filipinos.
Philippines is a very poor country.
$10 per meal is not normal, 500 pesos
Jiang Nan 江南 is my hometown in China.
Haha that's my hometown food 😂
This could be a new concept.. Eating with subscribers who are locals or locals who recommending one place.. If she has the feeling they can interact

parang wala namang filipino sa episode na 'to.
BF Homes Paranaque was really the first Korea Town. Waay back in 1985, I already saw a Korean restairant there.
Yung gulat ni Jessica dun kay Kuyang Sekyu😭
Infairness talaga yung editor at cameraman galing ng b roll and angle ng shots
Surprised no one recommended Black Bean, that cafe/resto has one of the best food menu items in BF!
wow galing
