Dude. Subscribed. I came for a review and I got fucking Hemingway. That's a lot of effort for a review. Your writing is punctual, full of modesty for mechanics and not over washed by emotion or nostalgia for other games. I didn't hear use cheap comparisons to describe a game. You allowed the game to stand on its own and you be it's vessel. And you got one hell of a voice.

I just finished this game and absolutely LOVED it! I am brand new to VR...this is the first game I really started playing and couldn't stop!! I literally felt like I was there and even now after I've finished the game...I feel like I truly did visit these places. It's amazing!

Excellent review, game is good but dark as in brightness, no one seems to say that. I prefer the fireproof mobile games as I can see them but the VR is clever and more atmospheric, thanks for review 👍 😀 😊🏴

As a puzzler, the free motion would actually probably cause more confusion and frustration than anything else. There are certain gadgets and machines you need to play with and the game lets you quickly jump between the locations of those things. Otherwise, you’d spend needless hours fiddling (or trying to fiddle) with things that have absolutely nothing to do with the puzzles. It’s always good to have free locomotion as an option, but trust Doc on this :) It’s a great puzzler :)

I'll throw my vote in on this comment as well. Great voice for narration. Maybe get into to audible titles as well if you'd be inclined Doc.
Excellent review of an excellent game. The only minor quibble with the review is that 1908 would be in the Edwardian rather than Victorian era.

Teleporting is fine in this one. In each room there are only 4 or 5 places you can go to so it doesn't matter
