ಸಂತಾನಹೀನಳಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಅತ್ತೆಯಂದಿರು ಪೀಡಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ತನ್ನ ಪತಿ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಗಾಬರಿಗೊಂಡ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಉಪಾಯವೊಂದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಅತ್ತೆ-ಮಾವನಿಗೆ ಸರಿಹೊಂದದ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ದತ್ತು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಮುಂದೆ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಅವಳು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಊಹಿಸದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
A woman is tormented by her in-laws for being infertile. Petrified by the thought of her husband getting married to another woman, she comes up with an idea to save herself.
