- -2020 390 Duke BS6 is around Rs 5,000 more expensive than the BS4 390 Duke.
- 2020 390 Duke BS6 gets two new colour options and a bi-directional quickshifter.
- 2020 390 Duke BS6 has the same power and torque figures as before -- 43.5PS and 37Nm.
KTM has already launched the BS6-compliant 390 Duke in India at Rs 2.52 lakh, which is around Rs 5,000 more expensive than before. Apart from two new paint options, the 2020 390 Duke now gets a quickshifter as standard. The BS6 390 Duke is powered by the same 373cc motor that belts out 43.5PS of power and 37Nm of torque. The suspension and the braking hardware remains the same as the older-gen model. And the only difference is the weight. The updated 390 Duke now weighs 167kg, which is 4kg more than before. Braking is handled by the 320mm front disc brake and the 230mm rear disc brake. The suspension setup comprises WP upside down front forks and a WP monoshock at the rear. So does the addition of a quickshifter make the 390 Duke desirable than before? That’s exactly what we are trying to answer in this video.

I do this quick shifter thing in all the bikes , just release the throttle and change gears without clutch for upshifts , and for downshifts u just need to match the rpm , ofcourse upshifts are problem in bumper traffic but down shifts works in traffic also.

Very good video. I can't decide whether to buy a 2020 or 2021 model of the Duke 390. With the 2021 Duke you have to pay less taxes in Germany due to the new emission regulations. But the 2020 model is lighter. I like the look of all of them. I might just look for a good deal on the internet.

@@AJ-dt8bx Still it works...and its a new feature...ktm is giving in such a low price...and ktm has ride by wire and all the tech to get the quickshifter working perfectly...this the the first time they have given the quickshifter it is not perfect but does the job and in the upcoming yrs this vl be fixed definitely

You CAN fit it in the older duke 390! As both the bikes run on ride by wire throttle hence the auto blipper can function well. You absolutely can, except the fact that there will be not much of a benefit as this QS setup is clunky and as the reviewer said, " just for bragging rights". It's a complete gimmick. Also, this is not a ZW level presentation, it felt like I am watching the news on Aajtak where the anchor does not even know what to say.

That's the worst review I have ever seen, After market quick shifter is available for all version of the Ktm Duke and they work better than the one provided by the company. Also the person's presentation and knowledge was not up to date.

If you are touring, go for 390adv and for commuting, weekend rides and show off, go for duke 390.
