  • REMARK Sports Touring Triple Tip Catback Exhaust + Front Pipe for Honda Civic Type R (FL5) 2023+
Video is best experienced with headphones. You can hear the difference when the vehicle switches from +R mode to Comfort mode and back to +R mode.

    Features:
    - Full 3" mandrel bent piping
    - Includes 3" front overpipe
    - Three 4.5" double wall tips
    - Retains OE exhaust valve function
    - High Flow Design for reduced restriction
    - Full 304 Stainless Steel construction
    - Fully TIG welded
    DESIGN
Our unique layout was designed with a purpose. The outer pipes are 2" OD, and we intentionally incorporated a long tube length, as well as small canisters to aide in sound control when the exhaust valve is closed. When the 3" valve is open (controlled by OE exhaust valve motor), the exhaust flow is channeled to a straight 3" pipe with only a small, straight through design, muffler. This gives a low restriction and high flow path for exhaust gases which will help with power in the mid to upper RPM range. Our design various sized piping, and multiple small sized canisters tucks up nicely with the OE diffuser.
    FRONT PIPE AND MIDPIPE
A 3" front over pipe with high quality flex tube is included. This allows the midpipe section of the exhaust to be full 3" and includes a large, straight through design, resonator. No reducer or step down transitions, full 3" from the downpipe/ catalytic converter back. Other systems that are compatible with factory front over pipe will likely have a section that is under 3" to properly bolt to the oem triangle flange. This system is not compatible with the factory front over pipe.
    SOUND
If you want a system that is aggressive sounding and than gets rowdy when the exhaust valve opens, this is it.
If you are looking for a quiet exhaust that doesn't wake the neighbors when the valve is closed, this is not that.
This system was designed to be bold sounding when the valve is closed and wildish when the valve is open. If you like it rowdy all the time, keep your FL5 in Sport or R mode but we did find it to have some drone (3-4K RPM) while cruising on the freeway. However, just switch into Comfort mode, and the drone is immediately suppressed as the exhaust valve is closed. While in Sport and R mode (exhaust valve open), the mid-high RPM range (4K to redline), we experienced no drone making it perfect for spirited driving or track usage.
Overall sound between exhaust valve open and closed - There is not a huge difference in sound levels, but there is a change in tone and presence of drone especially in the lower RPM range.
NOTE: Our testing was performed on a Type R with no engine modifications. Stock downpipe, stock tune, stock everything when it comes to the engine. Sound will differ with aftermarket DP, ECU tune, turbo upgrade, and possibly even aftermarket intake kit.

Not bad but the two tip sounds a tad better; prob due to the muffler

@@jameswilson8907 apexi is a bit more timid, but definitely sounds great and deeper sounding. However just not aggressive enough for me

We believe we could hear it while cruising on the highway in +R mode at about 3-4k rpm. Check out the video where we switch between +R mode and Comfort mode so you can hear it for yourself!

That wing just doesn’t complement the FL5. Maybe on a FK8 like mines, but definitely not the FL5.
