Unfortunately there are very few natural hair salons in my area. The closest one is about 40 minutes away. However I suppose it would be worth it like you said to have a professional color my hair. I was going to try cream of nature on my own as I see so many other naturalistas doing but this video actually changed my mind so thanks!

I just got my hair colored a ginger color last week and my stylist was good, but she definitely didn’t do a great job managing my expectations. My hair looks damaged and she’s telling me to just keep applying moisture and be patient and it should jump back in a few weeks. I believe her, I just don’t understand why she let me walk out the door not knowing that lol
Hearing you say there’s still hope even if it’s damaged is very reassuring! I have the olaplex 3 but i bought it for something else and haven’t actually tried it yet. I’m excited to try! Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for mentioning the part about silicones after color. I recently did a glaze which had silicones on some old highlights and it really came out nice. But your right it’s provides that protective barrier.
