Happy 10th, 017! This compilation still holds a special place in my heart. What modern Monstercat is doing now is cool and all, but I still have a soft spot for the old times. Man, the early 2010s were a great time for dance music.
This. This is my favorite album so far. Although it does lack some Nu-Disco, everything else makes up for it. It has a great combination of new artists, like Aero Chord, Rootkit, and Stonebank. But it also has a great combination of returning artists, like Tut Tut Child, Varien, Tristam and Braken. Also another great combination of slow and chill songs, to funky and plain awesome songs. I love 007, and to be honest, I've just been a fanboy saying nothing could beat it. Then when I listened to Tut Tut Child's Drink Up, I realized 017 had a chance of beating 007. And it did. Cheers, for 017.
This is a more chill, and relaxed mix. Those beautiful visuals and the chill music really made my day. Kudos to you Monstercat. I will always love your music.

Amazing album! I love the music on Monstercat because all of them feel so fresh and unique, unlike the mainstream commercialized tracks that play on radio, almost all of those seem very samey and repetitive IMO. Like you would've heard them hundreds of times before, even if it's your first listen. Props to the artists for staying original! :)
