The first notes of the fist song on this track is almost enough to make me tear up every time it comes on in my playlist. It’s that kinda nostalgia that’s just unbeatable and makes me smile without a fail every time. God damn I truly miss this era of edm so much and the memories I’ve associated with these songs 🫶🏻

I first started listening to Monstercat back in 2012, and this is the first album mix I remember listening to. I was blown away at how many incredible songs were all on the same album and I loved Monstercat for many years after this. I still love them, but don't listen as much as I used to (partially because I listen to so many different types of music now.) I've been listening to all the album mixes lately though, and this one is still the peak for me personally. I never actually knew what "solace" meant and I looked it up and it means "comfort or consolation in a time of distress or sadness." I consider 2012 to be one of the best years of my life, and while I don't remember many if any sad moments of that year, I have had a few sad times over the following years, but this music and lots of other great music has helped me through the tough times. Now that I know what solace means, I think I'll go back to this album more often in times of hardship, because thinking back to how good life was in 2012 as a happy little 15 year old boy makes me feel grateful to be alive and to have all the wonderful memories I have. Thank you Monstercat, for helping to improve my life in the past and still to this day through the wonderful artists that you display to the world. Happy 10 years to the greatest Monstercat album ❤

7 years later and it’s still just as great! :)
Every Monstercat album has been great, but there's something about this album just makes it stand out from the others. When I think of Monstercat, this is the first thing I think of. I've listened to it so many times, and every song on it is perfect. It might be because this album was my introduction to Monstercat, or because The Creatures have used like every song from this album in videos of theirs at one point or another, but I'm not sure. Either way, I think this album stands above the others.

Happy 10 year anniversary to one of the most iconic Monstercat albums! I remember in the past fans were praising 007 to death, and to this day in 2022 it is still a masterpiece of an album! The track list in this is perfect and RIP to House by Overwerk! Crazy that it is no longer available all due to him wanting to be an independent artist which is not a bad thing! Everything about this is so damn memorable! Thank you for the memories Monstercat! 2012 was an amazing era!

This has to be Monstercat's best album, other than 015 (Outlook). Honestly, I can't believe I left myself all this time before finding out about this album. I'm now taking the time to slowly listen to all of the older songs; sometimes the old ones are better than the new ones. Though that can't truly be said for Insan3lik3, he's always been amazingly talented and what he does :D

@@hotchkess846 I am not sure what happened, but at one point I Googled this mix and couldn't find the monstercat release. All I found were reuploads of it by random people. The other older mixes are weird as well. 009 does not have its original wallpaper.
@@hotchkess846 yeah. Sometime ago, it was blocked saying it has content from SMG to or whatever the group was called. Ever since OVERWERK - House was removed. OVERWERK made it to whenever you upload the song. Your video automatically gets blocked worldwide.

I'm sure it can't JUST be nostalgia, but I swear 80% of these songs are better than 90% of the songs Monstercat puts out in the last couple of years, all the artists have gone all melo/dull sounding, so many of these tracks just hit HARD, such a good album. Even around 017/018/019/021 were all pretty good, but since then it's just gone down and down into boring, but I will always appreciate them for this gold stuff from old days.

I remember when I was looking around to see if Monstercat has good music, then I came around this gem by accident, and boy did I listen to it for days. I love the visual but one thing I didn't realise back then was how awesome the music is in total. Brings me back memories of when I first met Monstercat every time I listen to this. :)
This is one of the only pieces that welcomes my youthful spirit back, to dance and smile and cry and laugh. I used to listen to this everyday before school in 10 th grade, now im 21 and its just amazing to hear this again. Life is hard now, but when you remember how simple being happy is, it reminds you that youre in control of your emotions
Dude YES! I listened to them from the very beginning when i was a Junior in high school. Now I'm 22, working a studio job in downtown manhattan, and I'm still loving this.

This album blew my mind 2 years ago and it's still blowing my mind now, after i heard it like 500 times.
I listened to this all the time while I was on holiday in florida, brings back memories of not being so fking cold all the time~
project 46 reasons is the reason i love this i was reading a book to 007 and a huge plot twist happened at the seconded of the drop which made the twist literally 500% better
