I am the mother of Carlos Miranda Jr one of the coaches that went into your event representing Chales Legacy gym all the way from Cotulla. I was very disappointed in the outcome decision the judges made where my grandson Destyn Miranda fought bout 12 - if you know how to judge, then you would know very well he was the winner of that match. Now I myself am a Christian, but I also believe fair is fair. My grandson worked hard, just as hard as the other opponent did when the fight was over it was very well known and said that my grandson won that fight. Decisions like that (rigged) can affect a fighter like my grandson they get up every day to sacrifice, hard work and dedication not only do things like that discourage them, but it discourages us as a supporters. I know very well, the sport of boxing for my deceased spouse was Carlos Miranda Sr, who fought a very well-known boxer by the name of Roger Mayweather. I was around it all my life. I’m very disappointed in the decision that was made by your judges. I saw your scorecard with that being said, try a little bit better next time instead of having the house representatives win.
Sorry but your son’s fighter didn’t work as hard as my boy Leon, he put in work before and after school every day, and out boxed your son, amateur boxing is not rigged, they gain nothing from it to rig anything
Ur son’s coach(Jairo) even came up to us and told us there’s no way Leon won, he said he has to be honest being a church based gym and Leon lost, that is why they took my sons head gear off as soon as the fight was over.. ur sons face even showed it at the end, yes he hit my son ever once in a while but most punches where blocked.. how can u say ur son won, when Leon’s whole corner came up and said he lost.. it’s rigged
It’s one thing to say a split decision but after getting score cards, 2 judges gave Leon all 3 rounds… so basically in order to win the last 3 judges had to have my son unanimously winning… outboxed??? We put all the pressure on this fight.. what are u talking about?? Ask ur sons coach what he thought about this fight and see who out boxed who… keep that same energy!!!

You a key board warrior running your mouth teach your son how to defend body punches because he was hurt plenty of times after the fight. If you want we have a gym here in our town you and your son come thru I’ll shoot you the addy and after me and you can get in there. Or you scared?
