I think that many rc modellers would build some planes at this size. I enjoy filming them and to be honest, I'm not envious, but admire these people!

Great aircraft of times past, great ground pilots as well. I am glad that everyone was having a lot of fun, living history is one of the ways to see our past, but also to not to try to make any more mistakes. This is fun and educational. When I left Europe in the 1980s, we only had smaller aircraft, but had airshows. Great works. Thanks,

For this kind of engine sound you need a radial engine with 250 or 400 cc ... That's what most of the Warbirds use in this video.

Wow, if I didn't know it was a video about large scale models you would be hard pressed not to believe that these planes aren't the real thing. What fantastic detail but the best part is that most of them sound soooo Great. Good camera work on the Video. It was very nice to see such a large variety of planes with such a high level of detail!
I enjoyed every second of this video. Very good camera work to. These Boys have some nice Toys. I could listen to those big Radial motors all day long.

When I watch enough of these videos, sometimes i forget these are RC planes. The detail and the flying is just phenomenal (the ones that dont crash mainly)

Thank you for your kind words. Oh yes. Radial engines are often installed into warbirds, as they have a very good sound which is very similar to the original.

Magnificent, RC sure has come a long way since my Dad took me to the Army Heli pad they used to fly RC from all thru the 60s at Ft. Rucker. Wow. The retracts are much more realistic, they fly more realistically, the Huey was amazing. The smoke from the P-47 engine was a real neat effect. Thanx for posting this.

that's what I was expecting. The big Oberhausen is well known and located in the Ruhr region near to the big cities, such as Essen, Bochum, Duisburg ....

Great video. Aside from a couple of crashes, these guys are really good at controlling thier aircraft. It looked like a mini airshow :-) and some of the camera views made the aircraft look real. Wish I could afford to get a RC aircraft.
