The full-time shops and the pro RUclips channels that knock out the projects fast are not "real". The magic of editing and the many hands behind the scenes make it look like easy. You keep it real and honest. Priorities change all the time and projects have to go on the back burner. 30mins in the morning or evening keep the fires lit and the ball rolling. Eventually you finish "eating the elephant" one bite at a time. Kudos to you for taking care of your own priorities and still keeping the projects moving forward. Most projects don't even get finished. That won't happen to you.

Another option is using some pvc to do your mock-up. Nice and cheap and allows you to setup the notcher perfectly ahead of time

It took me about 10 years to get my foxbody to where I want it .. ppl ask me why did it take so long … I say first off I’m leaving no stones unturned before I bring it out .. 2nd my priority is my kid and my Child support .3rd I paid off my house in those 10 years .. now I’m wrapping it up … just got done putting my exhaust on while watching your video in the garage .. most of all I don’t owe a dime on any part I have bought for the car !!! When I bring it IM BRINGING IT !!!!

I’m right there with you. Couple of kids, real job, late nights. The project is the passion but not the priority and my channel is just for fun. I often say that if I were a trust fund baby, I’d finish the Scout in two weeks. I’ve been following you an long time and you have definitely earned your fan base. Your attention to detail is heroic. Keep it up.

Dude dont even worry about the haters. You finish bibbster when you finish. 3 things to never mix the order up of. 1)family 2) full time job 3) play time with your projects. So far you seem be doing a damn good job of balancing it all so kudos 👍.....fyi you technically working 2 jobs 1) the day job 2) the dad job taking care of 4 kids and the honey do list is a job on its own. Good job dude keep it up look forward to seeing whats next for the bibbster. 👍

Oh yeah, more of the Bibbster.👊 The placement and fitment of those wastegates looks so good, Kyle. To this point, I haven't built my own turbo setup, but I have studied it quite a bit. Some people put their wastegates at weird angles that aren't conducive to flow and I can't see how they work properly half the time. IMO, the way you have yours positioned is pretty much ideal. As for your balancing act, we only know what you show us, and that's probably only the tip of the iceberg. From what I can see, it looks like you're doing a hell of a job, especially considering all the big things you have going on in your life right now. No complaints here, brother. Like most of the Fab fans, I totally get it.👍😎 Looking forward to seeing the Gray Goose again in the near future. Keep diggin' and we'll see you soon.

Nice quality work as always. I like the idea of the slant back grill shell, cause it could give you one of the prime elements of putting a "face" on the car. I can almost picture a '29 track roadster type oval or even Bugatti shape, but with some other kind of inner grid rather than vertical bars. Maybe you could English wheel a perforated sheet to fit in a frame and have a convex bulge. It could be the nose to go with your headlight eyes. PS; You never have to justify or apologize for how you prioritize your time and energy. We would all love to see more of your content, but it's YOUR life to enjoy as you see fit.

Could prob get a hole saw in there being that the tube is so short. Maybe put an extension and socket on the end of the arbor if you got one that's a hex, that is if the far end is too far. Use the tubing as a "pilot" instead of a drill bit. Cut a close to perfect hole for yourself. And as car builder myself, take your time man. Getting things done right takes a while. Looking forward to some content on this build.

I was just explaining to someone a week ago who was complaining about how he just wants for RUclipsr creators to just upload their project video's when the project is done. Because he hates it when people "milk" their projects, by taking years to finish and just updating with progress videos. They didn't seem to understand that actual fabrication work, or restoring a car from the ground up takes TIME!! skill, equipment, experience. Hell my own restore build have taken me about six years of weekend work. It's always people who have never picked up a wrench before that talk the most junk. Rome wasn't build overnight, and neither are project builds. There is a difference between a TV show with unlimited $$$$$ and labour vs the real world.
