All involved will be duly sworn. Any and all questions by the Special Investigative Committee are asked under threat of perjury.”
And like the last time, if you plead the 5th, you will forfeit your government employment, salary and pension.

I don't know HOW the Secret Service dropped the ball on this one. I closely worked WITH the USSS at the White House and a lot of other locations over the course of my long career in the US Army.
I have friends who are retired from there or are still on duty.
Personally, as an Airborne Infantry (Rangers) and Special Forces guy, who went to Sniper School as a young Sergeant, and STILL carried an "SF-modified" M-16 Sniper rifle as a Lieutenant Colonel in Afghanistan and Iraq (officers of that rank aren't really supposed to carry long-range weapons) I don't get it. The entire area around those metal buildings, and even the water tower in the distance, should've been closed off. NOBODY should've been allowed there.
This is SIMPLE STUFF. We aren't talking about high-level tactics here.
This IS NOT how ANYBODY would secure an area. Much less the Secret Service. I don't get it.
