This game was so damned difficult, even the TAS gets a game over with player 2. My brother and I committed years of our lives to beating Contra and Super C back in the 90s. These games are the OG co-op games, and they’re still just as amazing to watch today than they were 30 years ago.
...the problem is..on this game since 1 to 3...u are the bad guys..because the goberment tell you that the aliens wanted to destroy the world..if you see the story on google..u can see why lance go off from the team. U where killing aliens who only wanted to recover a legendary stone who gives the most powerfull control power.

Never realized Konami got an “Orchestra Hit” sound effect out of the NES sound chip which makes it sound almost like a digital sample - you can hear it in the post boss jingle
I imagine the pilot in the helicopter warning on the radio: It's horrible what's happening. In shock, he remains throughout the end credits, but no more signs of life, so the pilot returns to the base alone.
