Hey Ravenhawk, I didn't realize I wasn't subscribed to your channel until your video popped up, fixed that, just subbed! Nice review, I've got a Kansas City Southern ET44AC and it is stunning!, by the way, if you're wondering about pulling power, we had a Tier 4 gevo from a past run pulling roughly 55 to 60 cars on the club layout with no assistance, so it should be able to handle some serious tonnage!
I just received my Rivet Counter tier 4 yesterday. Mine is also a demo unit but it’s in the solid blue scheme, haven’t got the chance to run it much yet but I’m getting positive impressions from it so far.
There are so many uncovered railroads, which paint schemes could be made by ScaleTrains but no, ScaleTrains makes a fictional... 🙄 But I can understand when CEO of Wabtec/GE Transportation calls Shane and asks: Shane we need some ET44AC as presents. Could you please make some? Shane: but... CEO: You know Shane, you produce ET44AC models under our license... Shane: Yesss... 🙂 Modelers: ... 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ ...waiting next few years... until ScaleTrains wake up and make another railroad paint schemes...

I'm happy you guys enjoyed it 😊
It's definitely one good looking paint scheme. I pre-ordered mine and don't regret it one bit it's an awesome train.
It sure is!
Great loco and review. I got an NS C39-8 from scaletrains and it's one of my favorite models in my fleet.
Those rotating bearing caps look awesome, wish they’d do that in O scale on locomotives. The sounds on that engine sound awesome!
Those sugar cube speakers are something I tell ya.

I agree o scale needs more roller bearing caps on equipment!
Maybe one day
very sharp looking demonstrator. only thing that needs to be changed is the couplers. Scale trains ones break very easy
So far mine haven't given me trouble but if need be I'll swap it out for kadees
