i love the smaller propeller planes, I have done a couple now ,not in Canaries. Tangier to Gibraltar and UK to Brussels . Both were two different experiences
We used Binter last month to fly between Lanzarote, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria. Flights were brilliant and we didn’t pay anything like those prices as we booked 6 months in advance. I think we paid about £45 for one and a little bit less for the other. Would definitely recommend island hoping😊
The domestic flights are mainly in the north because that's where the majority of the locals live and Santa Cruz the administrative capital of Tenerife
Thanks for showing us what it's like on Binter. I don't think the price would make it doable to island hop for me. Maybe it's much cheaper buying a few months in advance. I'm not a fan of the prop due to the extra noise, but my dad is a retired aircraft engineer and says they are good little planes & safe as houses.
Brilliant travel video! Considering pricing, I’d probably opt for a ferry to Fuerteventura from Lanzarote. Glad you landed safely & Binter airplane looked awesome!
We had holiday few years ago visiting the smaller island with Binter loved them flew from Tenerife north to La Palma 4days then back to Tenerife for transfer to binter flight El Hiero 4days back to Tenerife north car hire drive south ferry to La Gomera 4 days back to Tenerife 2 nights at Tiede then home to uk loved binter and Cicar on each island
Did you pick that seat on purpose so you could keep an eye on that propeller? Nice to see you washed your hands this time 🤣🤣(sorry couldn’t resist after your live the other week)
I got based down in Lanzarote for a year and was able to avail of the cheaper domestic flights cause I had the residency card. Was there last year and They were charging me 400 euro for a hop to tenerife!!
It wasn’t a couple of Ryanair planes over at the international flights.. the one in the background is a Condor one, the german charter subsidiuary of Lufthansa.
I don't like the bend in the propeller blades , hope they didn't clip the top of mount Teide on the way down from Lanza . Thanks for the interesting vlog .
Have you heard Jet2 are getting rid of resort check in in Spain and the canaries? Over 900 redundancies! Think this is a really bad idea as I for one always try to book a hotel where they provide this service.
It's completely different to the 1st time was there in 1980 all the cases were put on the ground outside and we had to walk amongst them all u til we found ours then it was about an hour wait for a cab
They are not the only airline not to allow full on filming. I watch My Grey Gap Year who was told not to film. So he asked can I take photos, yes, can I take short clips for snapchat yes. So he took lots of little ‘clips’. I think that non resident price is too expensive, you can fly from UK for less! So just have another holiday.
Definitely would pay the price not sure about the plane my first plane a long time ago was a two winger around Carnarvon Castle in Wales scary dave 😳 ❤❤
great informative vlog. looks like one of them dodgy old russian planes to me. Thanks for showing has put me off flying island hopping the Canaries for sure. Both on state of them old buses and the craxy dear price for a tourist. Did you say 374 euro rtn for an adult and 1 child ? bonkers money imo
Wow Dave but clenching flights i don’t like I’m with you on that! Tbh i think the price structure of those flights are a bit mean charging foreigners 3 times as much as locals yet they’re happy to go with a half empty plane using the same fuel and staffing levels doesn’t feel right to me 😔
😱 my one way flight from Tenerife to Gran Canaria only cost me (non resident) £27.11 in mid May!!! Do you know what happens with a small wheelie case (bigger than your backpack but smaller than a suitcase)??? Do you have to check it in, take it out to the plane, take it in the plane??? Does anyone know???
I flew Gran Canaria to Tenerife South with Binter last year, those planes are horrible! Your ears bleed on take off from the noise, the turbulence coming in to land was probably up there in the top 2 worst turbulences I've ever experienced (and I'm a frequent flier), getting blown about all over the place and dropping out of the sky, not for me!
TBH, I think there is always gonna be a bit of turbulence when yr flying about 5 thousand feet from one island to another, plus it was a windy day and only a small plane. Liked the video but it would have been nice to see the actual take off and landing from the airstrip. 👏
@@okkcomputertrue but difference is pure jet aircraft fly higher and spend more time above any low level (below about 15,000 ft say) turbulence. Jet aircraft also have better rate of climb than turbo prop so can get above the weather quicker.
Would love to do island hopping but the price is just a bit too much for a 40min flight. Such a shame. Not sure I'd fancy the prop plane either eek. Im not the best of flyers 😮😊

Wow thats cheap
The domestic flights are mainly in the north because that's where the majority of the locals live and Santa Cruz the administrative capital of Tenerife
Correct but the south is a lot better for a break

Yes I think in advance you can get a better price

Lovely
Last time I went through Termial 2 it was 1983 and I was 17yrs old. Happy Days.
Wow it has changed a lot
Did you pick that seat on purpose so you could keep an eye on that propeller? Nice to see you washed your hands this time 🤣🤣(sorry couldn’t resist after your live the other week)
Yes I did ha ha always a wing seat and love the washing hands comment ha ha
Sod that Dave! I’d be flying from Lanz to Gatwick to Tener for 30-£40 😂 Possibly safer too but there’s more and more Max’s in use so probably not now…
The price is shocking mate OK for residents but they could offer a better price for tourists
How lovely that you get a little chocolate bar and some water 😀
The best!
Hope it was posh water 😂
I feel for you mate always nervous flying and I'm flying back to Manchester tomorrow hope it's smooth 🫣
You will be fine have a good one
I got based down in Lanzarote for a year and was able to avail of the cheaper domestic flights cause I had the residency card. Was there last year and They were charging me 400 euro for a hop to tenerife!!
Omg shocking
Love this channel seen him on his walk one Sunday in pdc but to shy to say hello. 😂😂
Thanks so much
Great video - Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Just come acroos your channel good stuff , new subscriber look forward to watching through 👌
Thanks Kevin welcome to the channel I appreciate your support
I'm flying from terminal 2 to Las Palmas in Sept so this vid's really handy - only on a Canaryfly though, my budget doesn't stretch to Binter 🤣
Are they a lot cheaper
@@MrTravelONWorld £25 (non-resident price), but in fairness I paid the same for a Binter flight in March. Both booked well in advance.
It wasn’t a couple of Ryanair planes over at the international flights.. the one in the background is a Condor one, the german charter subsidiuary of Lufthansa.
Awsome
I’m not in any hurry to take that Binter flight, I’m nervous enough on a normal plane!! 😀🤣
Ha ha its a great service though
I don't like the bend in the propeller blades , hope they didn't clip the top of mount Teide on the way down from Lanza .
Thanks for the interesting vlog .
You and me both!
Have you heard Jet2 are getting rid of resort check in in Spain and the canaries? Over 900 redundancies! Think this is a really bad idea as I for one always try to book a hotel where they provide this service.
Yes I heard
I tell you what, I enjoyed that vid. Price of flights between the islands seems a bit steep.
Yes look in advance maybe better
It's completely different to the 1st time was there in 1980 all the cases were put on the ground outside and we had to walk amongst them all u til we found ours then it was about an hour wait for a cab
Lots changed
Surprised how many rows there were when you were walking down the aisle. From outside it looks like it would be smaller.
Yeah it's not tiny there's a fair few seats

I agree interesting about filiming
Definitely would pay the price not sure about the plane my first plane a long time ago was a two winger around Carnarvon Castle in Wales scary dave 😳 ❤❤
Its not that bad ha ha I exhagurated
With you on the whole landing and take off. Only like a turn and burn take off cause you’re not sat there while the engines are going waiting.
Totally
Maybe you should fly out to Madeira😂
One.day

Yes that was the price 364 I think
No chance dave ferry for me lol
Come on Kev you need to be doing this
@@MrTravelONWorld never dave lol
Just did a price comparison of CiCar and Auto Rheisan for 10 days in August and CiCar was £100 dearer
Wow

Yeah book in advance a lot cheaper
Good one Mr T On is it cheaper going on the boat?
I rekon but over night a good few hours
No I wouldn't pay that Dave. Would rather stay in Lanzarote.😁
Lovely
What is best of Lanzarote?)

Wow that is good I guess there must be offers at times Ill have to have a look
@@MrTravelONWorld it's Canaryfly though rather than Binter. Residents discount seems to take the price to about €5.75 !!!!!
How much would the ferry cost for an adult and child just to compare the two prices , cheers Dave

Hey mate that full video on the way dont worry
Definitely not on my bucket list interested to know how high you go TIA Dave
Not sure mate
geniunely dont understand why people are scared or nervous of getting on a turboprop? its the same concept and its been around for over a century
also turbulence will affect a jet in the same way
Agreed
