Zach Zach Zach. Wonderful video. I have had a problem with our country and our poor nutrition for so long. Chips and cookies are so available but good fruit and veggies especially for the poor are not. Yes I wish I Lived in a community that I could walk to get everything but unfortunately most people do not. Also in between my classes I walk or run around the campus it really helps. Thanks for touching on this great job. I’ll tell my students to watch this one if they haven’t already. You’re the best 👍
Hey man! Nice video It's not just an American thing people globally are moving less which has led to deleterious effects on our body... This video is the need of the hour.
I always love what you share with us. I have a sedentary kind of profession so I need to figure out how to get more movement in my day. I like the idea of making sure I walk somewhere (even to the coffee machine) every 30 minutes or so. Movement and the pomedorro technique can go hand in hand.
Ur videos r always amazing to watch. U mentioned in one of ur videos about a video on how u use ur journals/notebooks. Do we expect anything soon on that? Good luck !!
Very inspiring! I don’t work till 10, so from 8:30 am to 9:30 am I cycle now in front of my light therapy lamp 😂 it’s been awesome to my routine. Never owned a car which forces me to take the bus for 1 hour to go buy organic food at Whole Foods. Totally agree with this!
12:14 hoping all the points weren’t just a quick AI result 12:29 “I think I spent probably over 100 hours trying to figure out this video” me: yesssssss 😂
This is great timing as I have a weekly goal of doing morning cardio for 5x a week but today I woke up too late to run 🏃♀️ and just sitting for the whole day is causing me to feel chest pain feel like I could be heading to an early grave if I keep up my current sedentary lifestyle 😢
As an engineering student I have to study for 16-18 hours a day. It almost feels impossible to balance everything be it exercising, diet, personal time, etc. The daily routine I made as a kid for a school project feels like a dream to me. People that are my age are constantly stressed out and exhausted. Can you please make a video on small changes that we can include in our lifestyle to feel more human and less like robots.
16-18 hours seems very very high. Even when I was working as a doctor 80 hours a week I would rarely hit those numbers. My guess is that you need to reduce the sheer amount of studying time and focus on improving your sleep, diet, and exercise and the efficiency of your study habits and you'll see your grades improve. Good video idea, will do!
sleeping less to study more is entirely counterproductive. Have sleep as a first priority, studying second (actually the rest of you health should be prioritized first, but I would argue sleep is the most important). Your brain will work better and you will need less time for studying, in addition to being in a better mood overall.
Back in India, getting into a national-level college can be very competitive (engineering and medical exams in India are one of the hardest exams in the world) requiring at least 4-5 hours of self-study after 8 hours of school and 4 hours of coaching. This is what more than 2.5 million students go through at the age of 16-17. Now that I am in a national-level college I have around 6 hours of college on most weekdays plus 3-4 hours that I give to my study project. Preparing for the next day's lecture takes around an hour or two and the rest of my day goes into studying for a competitive exam for masters.
Thank you Zach for this invaluable Video!! This is really important which generally, we all avoid to acknowledge. Thank you for such great contents. Keep it up. You Rock ❤❤👌👌
I feel like the "5% more likely to be obese" studies are a bit chicken and egg kinda results if you know what I mean. Are people that drive more, more likely to be obese or are obese people more likely to drive? Note: I didn't look into any of the studies but that's my first thought that popped up when you cited some of these studies. Also not saying I don't agree but they could give the wrong impression.
Visited US in 2014 (Im from Poland) and I was shocked how hard (and often dangerous!) is was to navigate in the cities as a pedestrian. And yeah... food was pretty bad (sorry! I was a fantastic trip anyway!)
This is perfect video to leave my comment. I was skinny guy 7 months ago, but now I am at 200lbs. I just took meal and workout plans on OnlyMeal. I follow that strictly and that's all I need. Now, I am really happy with my body shape and I feel how others notice it as well. It had a huge impact on my mental wellbeing.

First one: stop complaining

I agree with you. Having a good sleep is like a headstart to a day.

Would’ve left America years ago if I had the chance.
I understood Zach.
Zach's vibe is so much similar to that of ted from schitt's creek.

hey dr
pls make a vid on how to get taller before 21
I need that video... Not sure if there's much to it other than eating and sleeping properly and not living in space
Great vid. I hope people check it out.
I go for a long walk each day. I know 10000 steps is an arbitrary number to hit, but I like target and the routine
Hey dude, a great routine! I know people that love tracking there step numbers.
@@ZachHighley it reminds me of having a tamagotchi, except the silly little animal you're trying to keep alive is yourself 🤣
Your hair should have its own channel. 😜
Nice, you dropped most of the the "right?"
Get a dog! 😉😃these babies force you to walk at least 3 times a day plus all the love and care you get from them ❤
@8:26 every activity you eat :P
Depends on your activities eyyyy
@@ZachHighley :P
Sedentary lifestyle = me😢
