    Happy for the warriors - and for Steph. I disagreed with the narrative about his performance in the Finals, but no one can deny him this one. This Boston team held KD & Giannis to low efficiency, had the DPOY as a guard, but Steph performed. For me, Steph is now the best player under 6 foot 5 of all time - which is more impressive than it sounds.

OPJ, Iggy (might be too old, barely played), Beli, JTA, Chiozza, Lee) are not under contract. The warriors are probably the best team at finding vets and plugging them in. (OPJ, Beli, etc…). Assuming Iggy is retiring after this season, given the long term injuries and aches and pains, the Dubs are still in good shape to bring back a lot of the key players. Not sure what will happen with Porter, Payton, Bejilica, and some others.
    Can be pretty confident that Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman will be contributors going forward, health permitting.
    Myers is usually a shrewd evaluator of talent or players that can really effectively play a vital role on this team.

    • @BlackMarq20
      @BlackMarq20 2 года назад +1

      All of their starters except for Looney, are in contract through next year. Poole, Kuminga, Wiseman, Moody all on contract. GP2 loves GS and I think they resign him along with Looney. Realistically they both thrive and benefit from GS system. OPJ would be a huge plus to bring back, but the others could walk (Beli, JTA, Chiozza, etc…). The GS owners have no issues paying the luxury if it means they have the best team, I expect they do the same. The year after next, they’ll have some big decisions to make.

      I’m a Celtics fan and tbh what choice did we have really? GSW certainly wanted and earned that championship more. That’s what I’ve been telling people since the loss, that the better team clearly won. That’s not to say that my Celtics couldn’t have won it but when someone told me recently that I seemed salty about it, I had to tell them “yeah but not because the Celtics lost, its because they embarrassed themselves.” Objectively, this team is supposed to be one of the greatest teams in the history of the league next to the Lakers, and I’ve never been more embarrassed to be a fan. It was the worst finals performance I had ever seen. So much that I don’t even want to watch the NBA next season.

    the warriors will be scary for the next 4 years, They still have their core group, and wiggins, kuminga Wiseman, poole, gary payton, and Joe Lacob is willing to pay all of them. Sheesh...I have come to know that the most underrated thing about the warriors is their defense. Even without a rim protector, thy are still top two defense. This team is great

      absolutely. Skip is so annoying in the past with that argument but now he's become insanely obnoxious when all he does is keep regurgitating that same 4th quarter argument. Like bruh, an nba game is 4 quarters. And Steph is playing like crazy in the these quarters. But even Steph played good in this final 4th quarter.

That made it easier to get rid of him, but if he were exactly the same political and religious and he coached Curry the right way he’d still be there. Mark Jackson had the best off ball player in basketball history and spent seasons having him iso like AI.

    Wiseman is going to make this team so much better it's not even funny. Imagine a young athletic 7 footer that won't miss simple putbacks like Loon, can pass, rim protect, will guard the perimeter well under dubs system, etc. It's everything they lack with Looney and Draymond. You just saw Robert Williams 3rd be a problem for the Dubs, but with Wiseman they will have their own RW3, allowing Draymond to be a 3 or 4 like he is supposed to be.
