Happy for the warriors - and for Steph. I disagreed with the narrative about his performance in the Finals, but no one can deny him this one. This Boston team held KD & Giannis to low efficiency, had the DPOY as a guard, but Steph performed. For me, Steph is now the best player under 6 foot 5 of all time - which is more impressive than it sounds.
No its not impressive than* it sounds cause there isnt plenty of all time greats that are under 6’5. Just say steph curry is the greatest pg of all time or top 10 of all time. you are short selling him.
Boston won't have this kind of window of opportunity for the years to come - Bucks, and Heat will be healthier next year, BKN and Sixers will run it back with a whole new group.

I think this win will impact the next season. teams will focus on their defense to match this monstrous defensive warriors team. I hope this team will stick together for another season. such a great team.
All of their starters (exp Loony), Poole and their rookies are under contract. I think Looney and GP2 resign as they love GS and they benefit from the system. OPJ, Iggy (might be too old, barely played), Beli, JTA, Chiozza, Lee) are not under contract. The warriors are probably the best team at finding vets and plugging them in. (OPJ, Beli, etc…). They might be even more dangerous next year with Wiseman returning.
I've always given Mark Jackson credit. He coached them up to be a team that could make the playoffs every year, and Steve Kerr took to it to the next level so that they could be a team that could make the finals every year.
When they announced Curry as the Finals MVP, before he even LOOKED at the trophy... he started giving all his teammates high-fives. Steph Curry is the most unselfish Superstar in sports history.
I'm personally glad KD left. It left room for Steph to officially establish his greatness in the sense of carrying a team to a championship victory IN THE FINALS. There was the hurt Cleveland. There was the KD rings. This is ALL Steph...in terms of leading the team.
If there's one thing I am proud of Curry, he never made excuses of his hurt Cleveland time. He was coming from injury and was way off his game. No one noticed this, not the medi,a not many people except a few people like you. And he never made an excuse about his bad game then from the injury.
That's what happens when an organization breeds their stars. Kind of like San Antonio with Tony and Manu. This team stuck with its core of Steph, Klay and Draymond. Every move was to compliment those three. I think it really helped that those three didn't start off as stars because it kept their egos in check.
Assuming Iggy is retiring after this season, given the long term injuries and aches and pains, the Dubs are still in good shape to bring back a lot of the key players. Not sure what will happen with Porter, Payton, Bejilica, and some others. Can be pretty confident that Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman will be contributors going forward, health permitting. Myers is usually a shrewd evaluator of talent or players that can really effectively play a vital role on this team.
All of their starters except for Looney, are in contract through next year. Poole, Kuminga, Wiseman, Moody all on contract. GP2 loves GS and I think they resign him along with Looney. Realistically they both thrive and benefit from GS system. OPJ would be a huge plus to bring back, but the others could walk (Beli, JTA, Chiozza, etc…). The GS owners have no issues paying the luxury if it means they have the best team, I expect they do the same. The year after next, they’ll have some big decisions to make.
He was already an all time great but this cements it, almost like how some people still argued Brady wasn’t the best QB, but then he went and won one with the Buccaneers, now there’s nothing you can really argue about. They say he don’t show up in the finals but he just averaged 30, that’s why he was crying because deep down he knows now.

I’m a Celtics fan and tbh what choice did we have really? GSW certainly wanted and earned that championship more. That’s what I’ve been telling people since the loss, that the better team clearly won. That’s not to say that my Celtics couldn’t have won it but when someone told me recently that I seemed salty about it, I had to tell them “yeah but not because the Celtics lost, its because they embarrassed themselves.” Objectively, this team is supposed to be one of the greatest teams in the history of the league next to the Lakers, and I’ve never been more embarrassed to be a fan. It was the worst finals performance I had ever seen. So much that I don’t even want to watch the NBA next season.
True. I don't see my Clippers beating them. I'm hearing we are getting Mike Conley. We'll trade Morris. 🤔 That's fine. Clippers really, really need a point guard because we are built and are flawed like the Celtics.
Mark Jackson deserves some credit for laying out the foundation for Steve Kerr to build on with the Golden State Warriors. Joe Lacob and Peter Guber rolled the dice on firing Jackson after the 2014 NBA Playoffs and picked Kerr to be his successor in the Bay Area and it paid a lot of dividends.

they aren't. they have young guys on the come up that will be developed & mentored/taught well by these veterans so that they can be ready to go when these veterans retire
Wiseman is going to make this team so much better it's not even funny. Imagine a young athletic 7 footer that won't miss simple putbacks like Loon, can pass, rim protect, will guard the perimeter well under dubs system, etc. It's everything they lack with Looney and Draymond. KD fans feeling nauseous right now. 🤢🤮. Congratulations Ws. Give Curry his flowers. Wiggins proved there were/are dozens of players who could’ve replaced KDs role and they’d still be championship ready!
Well I’m not feeling nauseous…this team couldn’t beat a healthy Cavs team lead by Lebron without KD, so stop it.
I’m chillin lmao I’m honestly happy for him just scrolling the comments
@@roroonthegogo653 if y’all bring up 2015 love n kyrie we’re injured
@@dantrellwalker9393 then if yall bringing back 2016 Bogut is injured and Draymond is not on the court 🤡
Curry is top 5
Steph Curry resume:
2 X Scoring Champion
2 X League MVP ( Including 1st Ever Unanimous MVP)
4 X NBA champion.
1 X Finals MVP
..... And his career is far from over. Don't be suprised if he ends up in the top 5 that everyone has been saying is untouchable. What's for sure is that he is def top 10.
1 x New Stepmother
Well said
Mark was the first person that believed Steph, Klay , and Draymond could win a title and he made them the players they are today.
Mark Jackson should of got more credit
Man steph is the guy but man its hard listening to mark talk about him sounds like a his personal cheerleader
I’ll say if nobody else will
Jayson Tatum YOU ARE NOT KOBE
find your own identity talking all this mamba stuff you not Kobe
Don’t get me wrong Jayson Tatum is a good player just that he’s not Kobe that’s all
they aren't. they have young guys on the come up that will be developed & mentored/taught well by these veterans so that they can be ready to go when these veterans retire
Wiseman is going to make this team so much better it's not even funny. Imagine a young athletic 7 footer that won't miss simple putbacks like Loon, can pass, rim protect, will guard the perimeter well under dubs system, etc. It's everything they lack with Looney and Draymond. You just saw Robert Williams 3rd be a problem for the Dubs, but with Wiseman they will have their own RW3, allowing Draymond to be a 3 or 4 like he is supposed to be.
I can't go thru this again next year!
😆 stressed!
Yess so hard😄
Watching mark jackson covering the warriors makes me sad this is his team
Facts they robbed him like they’ve robbed every black man who was about to be successful.
🤦🏾♂️They would not have won a championship with mark jackson steve kerr is a better coach for the warriors than mark jackson
@@joshuaharris53 the warriors wasn't making the playoffs before jackson got there so yes jackson was instrumental building the team and coaching them up another example that just like Tony dungy build tampa bay team and gruden won the super bowl 🤷🏿♂️
MIke Breen sounds so exhausted
Curry=Brady of basketball
i’ll give one more title for Curry/Klay/Dray before they retire. after that the new guns will take over the warriors with Wiggins as their big brother.
is...is that Anthony Anderson on the stage?
I have bad news for Warrior fans. The Milwaukee Bucks are going to be strong this season. Middleton is healthy. If the Warriors and Bucks play in the NBA Finals, the Bucks will beat the Warriors in 5 games.
This is a bad look for KD
Is that Anthony Anderson up there 😂
It’s a travesty that Marc Jackson is not an NBA head coach by now
