@@SonicTheCutehog not exactly, Sonic plan in adventure wasn’t to simply “defeat” Perfect Chaos, rather it was to restore its faith and remove its anger.

If I recall, Adventure Sonic was actually dumber than Classic Sonic. There are several times in the plot where Sonic is fooled by Robotnik’s extremely obviously traps (getting hit by extremely slow sleeping gas). Even knuckles was dumbed down, once again, falling for Egg Man’s plans
Adventure Sonic is also a lot more cocky and arrogant, in turn making him react slower to events in the plot. Interestingly this is also exactly what we see in the mirror room at the start of Sonic generations. Modern is too busy mocking Eggman and by the time he is done Classic has already left
That takes effort, and we know Sonic Team... Ok to be fair they have listened to the fans for the past year but they definetly aren't going to add one simple feature that we took a while to have working in the first place
I’m not sure if that will work, mainly because Sonic Generations works on hedgehog engine 1 and Shadow generations will work on hedgehog engine 2. So I’m not sure if he can be ported over or not
