- The Stealth Trauma Aid Minimalist Pack aka the STAMP, is an In the waistband trauma kit that holds the standard items of an IFAK. This concealed carry kit is comfortable and lightweight and perfect for everyday carry, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Watch the full review to learn my thoughts on it.

I know where they can get the supplies! :-)
I can’t think of anywhere else…
Lol
I was like "oooh", then the price hit and went "nah".
I wear an Immediate Casualty Care IWB medical carrier that had cost me $25-30 naked. You can get it with a ulticlip. It is just pieces of elastic folded and sewn together. I have worn it with my scrubs at work, edc with my jeans, hiked 20 miles with on at my 9 o’clock
Nothing fancy but allows me to carry a TQ, combat gauze, mini compression bandage, two chest seals and gloves.
I have been eyeballing that carrier for a year or so, I need to just go ahead get it.
Thank you for the recommendation, I spit out my drink at $110.
Agree on ICC products been rocking the mini med and about to pull the trigger on the 2.0 amazing quality
Thanks for the recommendation!
I second this. I use the IWB-T
thank you very much for speaking up about how they upcharge like crazy for medical supplies. it really shows they're about the money and not saving lives.
not really
@@renegade7493 why else would they be up charging ?
They are a company, of course their goal is to make money. They are allowed to charge whatever they want. If they make money then good for them! If they don’t, then they either go out of business or lower their prices 🤷♂️.
I think the up charge by Velocity is more of a reflection on not having a medical gear supply chain. They are providing an easy button for a complete kit and charge for the convenience and the cost of stocking materials that are outside of a normal soft goods inventory. Sam, feel free to create Amazon or other vendor “bundles” that we can add to cart and earn you a commission on your verified and recommended gear. No one needs crappy counterfeit CAT tourniquets. recommendations and solid sourcing is a value add.
@@markusayt this, that would be very helpful
Appreciate the honest breakdown of the pricing.
PrepMedic: "A lot of you are way more stylistically adept than I am."
Me, freeballin' in a pair of khaki shorts open carrying a Glock:
As a dad, I never shy away from cargo shorts or pants. I also have zero use for skinny jeans. Cool video, interesting product, I would not carry this way personally so the price doesn’t make any sense to me. I would roll with a $30 fanny pack before paying over a $100 for just the pouch.
Thank you for the honest review; and for calling them out for the obviously overly expensive "convenience fee" to stock the kit for us. God bless.
I'd love to see your take on the Immediate Casualty Care IWB IFAK, which seems extremely similar to this for like 1/4th the price.
I have the STAMP. It's a great piece of kit. I've run into issues with my supplies sliding out as I'm walking around. But a little bit of double sided tape solved the issue. I wish the pockets were just a little deeper.
As a civie who has an EDC, I use the LTC kit. While it is a bit bulky for pockets and such, what I did (and it may not be the best but it's worked for a few months) is slide my belt between the fold. The velcro hasn't failed on me and I will occasionally try to make it fall off but it hasn't. May not be the most ideal way to wear it but it works
The unstocked price of this is pretty much what I'd expect a fully kitted loadout to be
i wonder how many people are actually gonna buy this. I'd be almost tempted to make one my self.
"backronym" is the word for what you described at the beginning ;D the technique is used way more often that it should be 😂
I wanna see a multi purpose tools series… for example go into the list of things you can do with a cravat: splints, slings, packing, modified tourniquet etc. I want to see a series that goes into a deeper dive things that are multi functional
Yeah, I will keep it in mind for the future and work it into the line up. Thanks for the suggestion!
Holy bananas- mark this in my "never going to buy" category. I have my truck first aid kit and a kit in my desk at work. That's not bad
This is definitely on my radar, thanks for showing it.
Look at immediate casualty care, they make similar conceal carry med pouches
TNX for the review, Sam. I can design and sew my own version of this configuration for less than $75. There is no doubt price gouging is involved all around - materials, design, and med supplies. I guess some people are willing to sacrifice hard earned cash for convenience; not me.
All of that said, the [Tramp] S.T.A.M.P. nomenclature is brilliant. Too bad the vendor chose to adopt the economic model of those who bear said ink, as well.
Just like with concealed carry, I dress to be able to carry, which means 2" larger waist to be more comfortable when carrying and a more blousing printed shirt to better hide the printing. That being said, I dress to be able to carry a very similar ankle rig. CAT TQ, 4" izzy, needle d (10G), 1 pack of LE quick clot, 2 z-folded gauze, pair of chest seals, 2 pairs of gloves, small roll of duct tape, vial of nitro, and a small pack of ASA. With me all the time. Very handy and I've deployed it once. Used the ASA and nitro more than anything else in that kit, but still have it if necessary.
lol, no snide remarks this time! 😂
If you stoop down to pick something up or bend over, does the back of your shirt get caught on the kit when you stand up? I had this issue when using the Immediate Casualty Care IWB IFAK which is the same thing but scaled down.
Here's my video challenge for you. Ready? lol Create a minimalist trauma kit for the average street bike motorcyclist. Not for off road/camping adventurers. Strictly for recreational weekend asphalt cruisers and/or daily commuter riders. Space and size are limited for most of us, so you must keep it all contained within a bag roughly about 3"x6"x9". Are you up to the task? LOL
All that aside... Great videos and a very educational channel! Well done.
I like the construction of this, it can easily fit in my duty pants
Great review, thanks for sharing
I would like a version of this where I can pull out a whole pouch from the carrier similar to most IFAK pouches.
Thinking about using this in a Fanny pack for edc.
Is carrying a windless style TQ in the small of back really a good idea ( or carrying any sort of hard product for that matter) ?
For you guys wanting a more cost effective option for carrying medical around your belt line, the unity tactical clutch belt or vertx/unity runners belt can accomplish the same thing :)
I'm a Type 1 Diabetic so I have to carry a few other items on the daily, as a result, I decided to double-dip and combine my IFAK/Medical items and my DIabetic items into one universal bag (the Death Dealer Tactical, DDT, Traveler Urban Sling Day Pack in gray). Keeps junk off my belt. The very few times I don't carry my sling bag, I do wish I had a way to carry more than just a TQ. I just don't think this little IWB shit is worth $110, to be honest. Plus, due to my insulin pump tubing interfering at my front, I carry my gun IWB at 5 O'Clock. I would have to roll this kit to the left a bit where my OWB mag carrier sits at 7'ish O'clock.
Been using this. Pretty great. You barely feel it.
Instead of using a belt loop could you use belt clips so if you don’t wear a belt you can at least have it with you when wearing gym shorts and sweats
It’s a really smart idea I like it better than the ankle carrier cause from John at war poet he said that you have to replace them cause they will wear out like shoes
Aren't the elastic tabs going to hook on everything you have on your back ?
Dumb question, but if you happen to use your gear on someone else in a good samaritan situation, can you ask the EMS/Hospital/State to replace the gear used?
You can always ask but I doubt they will restock it for you. A lot of IFAK manufacturers will replace your stuff if you submit proof of you using it in an incident
Nice video
great vid, new sub.
Is there any kind of elastic band like holster, for ifak supplies?
Looking for suggestions for boat based EMT/rescue swimmer pack...
I would like that for my backpack
Isn’t it where you can go over the AED
Can u do a video on Xstat wound packing?
Looking for thoughts on the CELOX-A Applicator. Did a search for PrepMedic but didn’t see anything. Many of the reviews are by people who don’t seem to know much about how medical products actually work.
I personally don’t like any powder only substances. Manual pressure is king.
@@PrepMedic Can you elaborate in a future video?
I dont understand the price not even with the kit or supplies😂
$38. Buys the sport pocket for the enigma holster that would comfortably carry the whole kit.
I would buy it if i could tuck in my shirt. Any suggestions?
Immediate Casualty Care has a similar product (no pull tabs or flaps) that you can spec out with Ulti Clips to make tuckable.
I need one
Maybe I live in an isolated corner of the universe under a rock. My everyday life I have no need for a tourniquet. In the last year I haven't seen one gun shot victim. In the last year, TBH, the most serious injury I've seen is a small cut. EMS called it a 'skin rip'. Basically the skin was pulled apart (like a small rip in paper). Took two Q tips with a cream on them, and basically laid the skin back over where it should be, and gauze pad covering. (I had my first aid kit, but because of work rules in place medical experts have to do medical.)
You don’t need a TQ until you need one. 🤷♂️
have it and not need it>need it and not have it
TQ is good for more than just gunshots. better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. when my grandfather was 17 he slipped with a knife and stabbed his leg, barely missing his major artery.
Okay... Why is Medical something you CCW?? Wouldn't you want the kit to be visible so people know.. this guy can help.
Doesn’t need to be. I personally don’t like advertising anything like that when I am outside of work. I don’t really need people to know I can help until I am actually helping.
First time I'm the first?
Can't believe it :-)
My medical EDC isnt always the same. Sometimes I carry it as one piece or I carry it in different pockets. Depends of the clothing.
It consists of:
SWAT-T
Compressed gauze
Mylar blanket
Gloves
I have a trauma bag in my vehicle always tourniquet on me always sometimes I will break stuff down in my kit and where on me under different circumstances
Love the concept don’t like the price
My feelings exactly
I would say $50 is the most that pouch is worth.
Waiting for Tacticon to make a knock off version for $20.
Probably same issue with 6-o’clock carry, bend over and shirt will get stuck above the gear.
me lembra muito os porta carregador de fuzil.
$110 with no supplies!!?
You lost me at $110 for the empty pack price.
Lucky I work at a hospital…get all that stuff free..quickclot etc
The price is ridiculous. Medical personnel make way less they should anyway. I feel like this is something that was made by someone who knows the ems market and did it and then someone else decided on the price when selling it.
It's because they don't expect you to look up the individual prices of each of the different items they just want you to assume that's how much the items cost it's just a Money grab
Tbh I reallt dont see the point in this product, I'd rather just have a small pouch to hand with more than this kit has available
Where you keeping this pouch?
Try investing in a Teleprompter, it will help you not to look down to see information and make your video look more professional...
Meh, I don't have time to script videos. I write down facts I don't want to memorize and that is about it, otherwise I just shoot from the hip and talk from what I know. I would say it has worked out for me so far.
If I carry this backwards, it will also make my booty look bigger. Win win if you ask me.
super expensive for what it has. over priced for sure.
Way to pricey. I've put my kits together for sub $100.
more ems excess
That is pretty shady of them tbh
All these med kits, ankle kits, IFAK's are getting ridiculous.
All those supplies are way cheaper (50% or more), just shop around.
They are getting to the point of being gimmicks.
All that stuff in your back in a patrol car won't last a day due to comfort.
It will then sit in the car. Just get a premade Fox bag for $29-30.00 bucks and repurpose it.
If you want to be one of the "cool kids" put a First Aid patch on it.
$110 for a $10 case? You must be kidding. No tears when they go out of business and whine about supply chain issues.
Yeah… I don’t think they are going anywhere. They are a pretty big company with a fair number of contracts
@@PrepMedic The company might last, although short term thinking can kill an otherwise big company, but the product is laughably expensive. Either they drop the product or I assume we'll see some 70% off sales.
I agree. Waiting to see if they contact me about the video 🤷♂️.
Nice idea, but what a rip-off..
Sorry Ankle trama kit
You just got scammed 😂😂😂
The pouch is overprice and not only than you didn't get all the med kit that comes from it.
Didn’t get scammed, I knew what I was buying and I discuss it’s price point in-length in the video.
