I think Glenn forgot that in the original Halloween 2 from 1981, Carpenter & Hill did write in that Laurie was Michael's sister. This is carried over in the sequels up to Resurrection. It was David Gordon Green's reboot where he chose to ignore all the sequels and drop the sister angle. But Carpenter did put that in there in Halloween 2.
@@MoviePalaceOfBlood it was a big thing that was missing from Gordon Green’s reboot, it never made sense to me that if there wasn’t that connection… why was he still targeting Laurie 🤷🏼♂️
Hate that I missed the Livestream guys. I have to admit that I am a fan of the religious themed horror movies when/if they're done right. I enjoyed the original Omen trilogy, Serpent And The Rainbow, Frailty, Servants Of The Twilight, The Believers, The Prophecy, Brotherhood Of Satan, Rosemary's Baby, The Wicker Man (OG version) Eye Of The Devil and many more that I'm brain freezing on right now.

I think we’ll be revisiting this theme in a couple of weeks while it’s the season for horror !

After watching the livestream makes me think 🤔 it’s time to those horror movies out of the cellophane and start watching.Even though I’m not a big fan of horror, I’ll watch Roger Corman’s B rated horror, anime theme horror,kaiju monster,comic relief horror,religious theme horror,supernatural horror, and freak of nature horror.The types of horror movies I don’t like are Psychological,slashers, and zombies which I had my share of watching them. I can’t wait for part two of the livestream ,have a nice day 😊👍❤

I’m hoping to delve into some horror flicks from tomorrow but may not get to quite as many as I want to. There’s a few I’ve still got all sealed up too. That Undead I waved around was still sealed.
one thing i forgot to comment about was the sound on 4k horror films makes it more intense.the atmos on a quiet place was really good and the other day i watched crimson peak with the 7.1 which was good also
@@jonrobinson3262 yes ! We should have talked about the sound design. Such a massive part of some of the horror movies… and not just talking for the heavy handed jump scares.
One thing that stuck in my head and frightened me as a kid was the simplicity of Freddy’s knife’s scraping down a pipe… I hope they’ve nailed it for the new 4k
