1 big cauliflower - cut big pieces
4 medium potatoes - cut wedges
1 tbsp coriander powder
0.5 tsp jeera powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chillies powder
1 tsp kasturi methi
0.5 cup water to mix masalas
2 onions finely choped
3 tomatoes pureed
1 tbsp oil
Add Gobi with little salt and turmeric for 5 mins shallow fry
2tbsp oil
1 Bay leave
1 inch cinnamon stick
2 Small cardamom pcs
1 clove
1 tsp jeera
2 tsp garlic minced
2 tsp ginger minced
Add onions
Keep flame on med. High
Add masalas
Mix on med. Heat
Add tomato puree
Stir till it releases oil
Add potatoes
Mix for 2 minutes
1 cup water
Cover and cook for 10 minutes
Add 2 tbsp whipped curd
Stir in cauliflower for two mins
Cover and cook for 2 mins
Add 2 cup boiling water
Cover and cook for 7 mins
Add 2 julienned green chillies
Add coriander leaves
Add 0.5 tsp Amchur powder
0.5 tsp garam masala powder

thank you for this list. i have one question, in the beginning he adds 2 red powders, but you only listed 1 red chillies powder. can you tell me what is the other red powder?

Thank you 🙏 this is real recipe with real flavor, no cheating using Maggi cube or msg. Unfortunately too many Indian restaurants use Maggi base to create flavor. You don't feel so good after eating it. But this is all real ingredients

Excellent recipe just make it in large quantity in an iron Kadai instead of a steel pan . Freezes well if you have extra for a few days.

@@CookingWithChefAsok The paste u used , is it both ginger and garlic paste . If u add English subtitles and list of ingredients it helps. Many people had asked for it. Even though I do not know your language I was able to post the list of ingredients. Hope I did not make any mistake. Pt1 First take Cauliflowers. Do not cut them very short or they will dissolve in the gravy. Do not throw away the green part of the Cauliflower.. It will be used later. Cut Cauliflower and potatoes as it's shown. After cutting the potatoes make sure to keep them in water or else they'll go dark.

For the masalas:- 1tbsp Coriander powder
Half tsp cumin powder
A little less than half tsp turmeric powder
Half tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp kashmiri red chilly powder to give the gravy a nice red color.
A little bit of kasuri methi (fenugreek powder)
Add water to make A nice paste

Make tomato paste and cut the onions very small size
He used mustard oil but you can use any oil.. Add Cauliflower+salt+ turmeric. Do not deep fry Cauliflowers! A little bit of water splash to make it soft. It will take 3-4 min to shallow fry it.
@@adelajesus add oil again in the same pan + 1 bay leaf + cinnamon+ 2 small cardamom+ 2 clove+ A little bit cumin (not powder but whole) once cumin starts splatter add 2 tsp garlic. Once the cumin goes golden add Onion (cook it on med to high flame) after the on ions are cooked add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste (cook it on med to low flame till the smell disappears) now add masala (med flame) cook it till the masala is cooked (you will know it when oil starts separating from the masala) add tomato puree add salt and once again cook it till it the oil starts separating (med to high flame). Gravy is ready
