6:13 That actually couldn't, as they were within the Spawn Point's barrier, thus preventing them from getting splatted by the Inkzooka. Why they got rid of that in Splatoon 3 is a change I'll never understand.
i also never grew up with splatoon one but getting pretendo on my wii u is actually got me into the franchise and eventually lead me to finding you! oh also the anticrash patch fixes shops with octolings
