cloud watching over a prairie at Maiden Rock Bluff trailhead and an exceptional sunset from a scenic overlook below the bluff
The sunset portion of this video has asynchronous sound because I didn’t want to listen to vehicles driving by in the final video. I drove up to the bluff trailhead ahead of the sunset to record the birds for the soundtrack and decided to film the clouds too.
I also included a couple minutes of Lake Pepin’s waves at the water’s edge-two minutes was all I got before boats moored on each side of me bringing sounds I didn’t want in the soundtrack. I was as far as I could walk through lakeshore brush past a beach, but the boats found me. 🤣
