Hello!! LN is for Lakenheath in Briton. I was Stationed there in the 80's. We HAD F111's there. Now F15's have taken their place. This is a game changer. These particular birds fly near ground level... with sophisticated electronics that keep bird stable and not drop below any further. Ground tracking radar. Second man behind cockpit is the 'wizzo' who coordinates weapons with perfect precision.... Radar cannot be pointed at ground you see. F111's and now F15's cannot be shot down because they are traveling just below Mach 1..... Near perfection at its best, with now 50 years in the making.... S

With an additional, what maybe 20 additional ships and let's not for get submarines lurking about too.... Another day at the office, for the exception of a lower DEFCON number... We are never really on standby, pushing the limits of technology and electronics....
Oh I was just talking about fighter aircraft. Buffs and B1 attributes, increase intellegent target requirements. All precise, not like gorilla half baked weapons. So much so, there IS MINIMAL damages of surroundings. Remember carpet bombing? Takes 1 expensive weapon to get the same effect. And still will remain as the most human way to fend off aggressors...
I agree with you, 52 years ago I was in the USMC, Since WWII we have been involved in so many skirmishes around the world... Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and many others that they do not publicize, (Bay of Pigs - Panama - Central America - Venezuela - Somalia-) We are a world of warriors, killers; and do not know peace any longer
