It looks like that first sign is also in front of a telephone poll on the sidewalk. Kudos to the person who moved it there. I don't know why construction workers insist on blocking the bike lane with signs.
Seems like a nice area for a bike ride. You need a better design like they do in Holland. Cycling in Holland was amazing with cycle tracks separated completely from the road with full priority too.

Yeah next time the workers should put the signs in the middle of the road and block the thousands of commuters so one bicyclist can get to work!

My SUPER simple design is to make the ballards have a screw cap that you can put the signs onto.
They did this on Lake Murray Blvd on Oct 30th too and I saw zero road work except for on the opposite side of the street.
Ironically, one of the moved signs reads "🚴 SHARE THE ROAD "
It was moved by the crew, because they placed the cones at the right spot along the sign
