    Thanks for actually working in the sun outside. Some channels try to give advice while working indoors!

      No worries at all. Yes my channel is all about working outside in all conditions. Thanks for watching 🙌

    A great watch 👍 I think the best tip was something you didn’t mention! Hosing off the door shuts using the stubby gun with the power washer switched off, saves disconnecting from the water to use a low pressure hose! 😄

      Thanks I really appreciate it. Ahh yes, I didn't mention it but like you say a really good tip. I'm glad that it was shown on the video, so you could take that away and use that idea in the future 🙌

    Nice job. It's so tough without an indoor wash bay. I wish I had one. Future goal!

      Thank you. Yes it is harder, but we have to make do with what we have. Maybe one day hey, thanks for watching 🙌

    Some good ideas there. Will try the shampoo snow foam idea.
    While washing in direct sunlight isn't a great idea, I love spending over 2 hours pratting around in the sun with a power washer.
    Cheers for the video

      Thank you for watching. Yes the shampoo in the snow foam cannon I do like to do it, makes it easier sometimes.
      Yes it isn't the best but sometimes you have no choice if you're doing many cars a day, you have to work out ways around it to make it work. Thanks for the comment 🙌

    Great job again
    I always clean my car at 8 in the morning if it's going to be hot.

    Great video! First thing in the morning I like to perform the wash, that way when the sun comes up I’ll be able to see if I missed any bits and go over it again when the sun is setting 😂

      Thank you! Haha that's a long wait, I think I would have to clean it sooner if I see anything I had missed 😂

    Nice foam cannon! What brand is that? What kind of snow foam do you use?

    • @the_jnlt_channel
      @the_jnlt_channel  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! That's the new Ava foam cannon, did a video about the cannon on my channel. But I highly recommend it, it's really good. For this job, it was autoglym Polar Blast which is good for the summer (PH neutral) and I try to switch to an alkaline type foam in the winter. Hope that helps 👍

    Great video and work! Got a wuestion, whats the best way to clean an engine bay without water ? getting my cousins BMW F30 Touring 3 series ready for sale.

      Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment. So a little trick I would use is WD40 if you don't want to use water to clean it. WD40 cleans dirt away but also gives a good finish to the plastic. The only downside to it, is it can trap future dust onto the trims but is easy to wipe away. If you are selling the car, I think this method would work well for you. You will have to let me know how you get on 👍

    Nice one! Funny that 3-4 months ago people were desperate for the summer, not so much now hey 😂. Spring and autumn, those are the goldilocks seasons. Would you do anything different on a dark car, where the panel temperature is about 20 degrees higher than on a white car? All the best.

    • @the_jnlt_channel
      @the_jnlt_channel  Год назад +1

      I love the summer myself but not when cleaning cars haha! So if it was a dark car, I would try to do it much earlier in the morning if possible and try to find the most shady area that I could. If there was no choice and I had to clean in direct sunlight, I would just do a panel or 2 at a time. It's a hard one isn't it but you have to do the best you can! Thanks for watching 🙌

    What dilution of shampoo do you put in the snow foam lance. My car shampoo is normally 2 capfuls to a full bucket of water.

    • @the_jnlt_channel
      @the_jnlt_channel  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! So for this shampoo I was using, it was 50ml product, to 450ml water. It's about testing with different products how best they work through the snow foam lance and there are some don't work that well at all. Hopefully helps you out a bit with the question 👍

    which ceramic sealant did you use? cheers

    • @the_jnlt_channel
      @the_jnlt_channel  Год назад +2

      This was polar seal from autoglym, gives about 3 months protection. If you want one that lasts a bit longer, Mile Deep do a good one that gives up to 6 months of protection.

    I usually clean mine at around 9am in this weather as the rear of the house is more or less in the shade

    • @the_jnlt_channel
      @the_jnlt_channel  Год назад +1

      Yes I started this one at 9am but by 10am the sun was covering all in front of the house. I have a very small area down the side to clean which is in the shade but it's just that bit too tight. Thanks for watching 🙌
