Your video helped me make a confraternity cord. Thank you. The knot is similar. There's just one more strand that goes through each knot. Mine kept getting bunched up wrong, but your technique prevents that.
That's a bit hard to explain in a video, but basically, after you make a new knot, you hold it and tighten it slowly, while also 'nudging' it back to be close to the previous knot. For myself, I typically leave about 2/3 of the size of one bead spacing between each knot. The first rosary or two you'll probably have a lot of uneven gaps, but you get the hang of it after that.
Thank you very much, now my grandchildren and I can learn how to make rosaries. Ave Maria, Viva Christo Rey. Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, Yeshua, sacrificial Lamb of God, redeemer of the human race, save us and save the whole world. Amen
What a delight! Here am I loving all your tech content and I happen to independently stumble on this video to find out one of my favorite creators is catholic!
Thank you. After 100s of failed attempts and watching many videos, finally I made my 1st knot.
Glad I could help :)
how do you put the cross on and do the final knot

You skipped the part where you actually make the second knot. I am still so confused 🤔
How do you make sure the knots are equally spaced?
