А я вот открыла для себя это произведение только в 51 год и эта музыка меня к жизни приводит,не могу наслушаться❤

Brilliant! I don't understand how it is possible to keep the same pace all the time. As if all four had a metronome in their heads. I applaud!
I think its easier with 4 people than to do it alone
Truly a masterpiece. I take my hat off for those musicians. Must be so difficult to cencentrate for so long, not missing one note. They must be so tired after this. All my respect.
Ça n'a pourtant ni le génie ni la grande beauté des concertos de Bach. Mais Il y en a qui se font avoir....
I don't think it matters all too much if they miss a few, especially in a piece like this
@@Ben-by7ul I was thinking exactly the same - while a great fan of minimalism, I remain unconvinced by this - probably because it's really not much more than an extended musical 'doodle' - the dissonances sound like a child is taking the p1ss... Bit of the Emperors New Clothes, I fear.

Voor vier vleugels is dit de beste versie. En: geen yogamatten!
Great interpretation of this magnificent composition: tempo is well-chosen, perfect interaction between the pianists thereby staying in-sync, it is not sounding messy at any given time and the musicians put really nice accents on the various melodies. It's just beautiful!

Masterfully played on these magnificent instruments, the sound of these pianos is absolutely amazing, never heard such brilliance throughout all keys. Great piece of music.
That part at 42:52 is so awesome, and Daphne is playing it with one hand! Absolutely amazing!

Masz rację. Ja wczoraj w Warszawie, słyszałem ten utwór pierwszy raz na żywo w wersji na marimbę, wibrafon, fortepian, wiolonczelę, syntezator i klarnet basowy. Brzmiało wszystko niezwykle. Zwłaszcza klarnet basowy, wibrafon i marimba tworzyły wspaniały klimat. Jednak ta wersja z Amsterdamu jest doskonała. Pozdrawiam

I liked Canto Ostinato so much! I'm listening to the holes. I especially like the part where the music collapses into the rhythmic beating of the clock. It's a complete delight. Only the ending is tragic to the point of impossibility: it turns the whole meaning of the music being lived upside down.
En dan te bedenken dat ik er bij was... Nooit naar deze opname gezocht (??), kwam hem nu bij toeval tegen... Vond het toen en vind het nu naar herbeluistering nog steeds een geweldige uitvoering! Blij dat ik hem gevonden heb.
Maravilloso!!. Desde que descubrí el Canto Ostinato no me canso de escuchar una y otra vez las diversas interpretaciones que hay de esta genial obra, que te envuelve y te transporta a otra dimensión, y esta es una de las mejores versiones que he escuchado. Gracias por compartirla.

Wonderfull the brilliance of the four Faziolis, these pianos are preferably suitable, so that the sounds of four pianos cant blend too much.

Met afstand de mooiste versie die ik totnutoe gehoord heb. Ik krijg er geen genoeg van. Werkelijk wonderschoon.
Dankjewel Joachim voor dit mooie compliment. Ruim 17 jaar in vaste samenstelling concerten geven en wekelijks repeteren is zeer waarschijnlijk het geheim van onze uitvoeringen. Goed om te horen dat je er zo van geniet!

Indrukwekkende uitvoering, goed tempo en uitstekende speelduur. Ik ging er zojuist helemaal in op. Ik merk dat uitvoeringen van tussen 90 en 120 minuten mij tot nu toe het meest kunnen bekoren. Er zijn kortere en (veel) langere uitvoeringen in omloop, op cd en RUclips, maar dat verhoogt voor mij niet de amusementswaarde.
Job, we zijn het helemaal met je eens! Dankjewel voor je compliment!

Nice observation. I heard this for the first time in the 80's, live performed, on Dutch radio. Then the silence lasted for 45 seconds. Very impressing indeed.
Later in that broadcasting there was an interview with the composer himself. I remember he said the performance was'nt perfect, but still very satisfying.
An understatement would i say. One could say the same about this version. It still brings me to tears.
The 23 sec have nothing to do at all with quality, Ms Keune kept her hands on the keyboard, so it could have been a major music intermission, the applause was long-lasting

@@michelsoucy1245 non elle n' a pas mal vu, ça n' a pas l inventivité mélodique des concertos de Bach par comparaison, ni d ailleurs son contrepoint inventif, c est plus une recherche de forme que de beauté mélodique pure
