Got to dive deeper in to these boys! Have so many different sounds from garage rock to psychedelic to pop to vintage to spacey lounge music

These guys are evolving. They are going to have an awesome discography to look back on. Saw them live last night and they were spectacular

I saw this song live. It feels very cinematic and intense.

Alex Turner has developed into an incredible singer, they’ve went from an indie garage band to an absolute brilliant rock and roll band

They’ve gone through every phase of indie rock you can think of. Garage-y indie rock, desert rock, moody rnb-inspired soft rock. This album is them heading more into a lounge pop rock direction, slowing down a lot and adding a whole lot of orchestration

this song came out with their last album released in 2022, they've changed a lot since the beginig (2002). The first 2 albums were garage rock revival (I recommend I bet you look good on the dancefloor, brianstorm or any song tbh). From their 3 album they started to do a more post punk revival/enimagtic/hunting thing (I suggest crying lightning, jewellerys hands or pretty visitors). Then Suck It And See had a more romantic/pop vibe (Piledriver Waltz, Black Treackle...), AM, the famous one (Do I Wanna Know, R U Mine, fireside, knee socks). A few years later they released a big change with Tranquilty base hotel and casino, a Space Jazz Lounge album (Five Out of Five, Science Fiction, American Sports) and the last one The Car, I think the singles with Hello You are good choices. Alex has another group as well. Nice video

This song is like a letter to fans who speak out about how they've changed their sound. I think I read somewhere that was the intention.

if they kept this style for the entire album (the car) it would be a record of the year candidate.

Arctic Monkeys always change their sound and style with each album they release, its worth to listen a few song of them all, I sugest 'Library Pictures' 'Four out of Five' 'Arabella' 'My Propeller'

You are right, the car album doesn't sound like this song, this is a particular one. I'ts a very cinematic album and this song is the fans' favorite, it sounds amazing live. Arctic Monkeys have changed their sound in every record and they are still doing great in the industry!
You could react to: R u mine, The view from the afternoon, Brianstorm, Arabella, When the sun goes down, Four out of five!!

I feel like this could easily be the intro to a 007 film

This is definitely different from their old sound. They formed in 2002 and each of their 7 albums are very different. They have music from upbeat garage rock to psychedelic pop to lounge almost jazz like music. Definitely listen to more!
    Here’s my suggestions:
    The View From The Afternoon
    A Certain Romance
    Brianstorm
    Crying Lightning
    The Afternoons Hat
    All My Own Stunts
    Evil Twin
    Black Treacle
    R U Mine?
Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You
    Four Out Of Five
    Batphone
    There’d Better Be A Mirrorball
    I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am

Bro, i love every reaction you do. But that background though, it keeps bugging me off. The letter "I" in the back is upside down. 😁

this is their latest album, its ok but i think its shit compared to their previous stuff.
As Thomassellis@936 said, they're probably the best group to have come from England in 30 years (let alone from Sheffield lol)
    PLAY THE OLDER STUFF!!!
    You'll love them!!!
