I think the flashback gives a bit of context to why Ywach is hellbent on removing the Soulking and destroying the barrier between life and death. He says something along the lines of experiencing the anxiety of fear of all those whose souls returned to him on death. We know this to be true from what Haschwalth stated to Uryu on the death of the sternritters. I believe that this is one of the main reasons for returning the world to the primordial state, that all the memories and emotions Ywach has ‘absorbed’ wth those souls has tainted his perception of the worlds, that all things live in fear of death and that removing that fear would not just ‘save’ all souls from fear, but is like a learned instinct for Ywach in some way. This seems to explain (at least to me) why Ywach is so fundamentally opposed to his father, the Soulking, when he should be the only being in existence closest to understanding the Soulkings motives for dividing the 3 worlds. In this sense, he seems less classically evil (like Aizen who is similarly exceptionally powerful but fueled by selfish desire born from his own mortality) and more futilely antagonistic to the seireitei (trying to destroy the barrier between the worlds and return to the primordial state of being, one without fear of death).
@@perfectch4059 naa the manga and novels explained that the reason that ywach did everything is that he was afraid of dying or returning to the way he was before also ywach does not absorb the soul basically what he does he collects back the schrift he give them before basically the quincy level up the schrift for him
15:46 the dialogue in the flashback implies that Yhwach stole the left arm from Ichibe with the trade-off being his eyes. Even as manga readers we don't really know what's happening. But I see the hand manifesting and going into Yhwach and his eyes turning back to normal. Ichibe says: "Did you think I'd let you have the Soul King's arm for free? Your eyes will now be closed forever never to open until the day you die."
Yea, ichibe let Yhwach take pernida, but took the almighty away from him. I'm guessing Yhwach reclaims the almighty after he dies when yama killed him 1000 years ago

I think that flashback is something Kubo wanted to put in but didn't have time, as he was rushing the end of Bleach. It was a shame, a lot of us wanted more depth to Yhwach at the time, this flashback pretty much gave us all we needed on his motivation and why he was doing what he was doing and how he lost to Yamamoto
The hair and makeup is really good this week for you both. This episode had things rearranged so much to the point manga readers are completely unsure about how things are going to turn out. Some things could be moved, some could be cut. Hopefully not too much is cut. This makes the risk of people spoiling you higher though since people will assume stuff has been cut and just casually mention it when its possible its been shifted to next week. At this point yhwach's full backstory was supposed to be like 7 episodes ago so idk if its a spoiler to explain that in full. But its still possible they moved that all the way to the next season or the last. The thing with byakuya's oken is actually the same in the anime as the manga it doesn't give you any more info in the manga unless i'm misremembering. You just have to read between the lines because it talked about how the oken was protective clothing and the two moves the guys used just whiffed on byakuya when it worked on others. Just a moment where bleach doesn't spell it out. Sometimes it spells it out too much like explaining powers and sometimes it doesn't do it at all and people argue forever what the truth is. Some people still disagree about unohana's bankai abilities.
A few things: now we know what Aizen and Urahara were talking about during their last confrontation and I highly recommend you go back and either read it or watch the anime scene of it (it’s so good in the anime) with this additional context. Also the fact that Yoruichi and Kukaku 2 former Noble Clan members don’t really know much about the Soul King and no one really knows about him or ever seen him which is odd to say the least. Lastly, without spoiling anything don’t underestimate Orihimes barriers y’all 🗣️ she may not be a fighter like the rest but she ain’t weak 🤝🏾

We get some pretty important details, Ichibei seemingly is using the Left Hand of the Soul King and Yhwach can't use whatever his abilities are to see through the Soul King. Further, we now see who and how Yhwach abilities became "confined" (Basically Yhwach absorbs the left hand which in turn seals his Ability (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)) - The Flashback scene takes place in the World of the Living, it's the Licht Reich which is the Quincies empire. Ichibei was their to negotiate, which is crazy to think because it seems that 0 Squad rarely leave the royal palace unless it's very important. - The lines "I can see it all" and "I'll show you" is a great expression of their seperate ideals Yhwach is someone who looks forward and seeks a new future, whereas Ichibei knowns and sees the worlds as it is and wishes to maintain the status quo - Yhwach for the 1st time shows some emotion here, though he says otherwise he's clearly upset about whatever it was that happened to the soul king - We see Uryu activate something, so it's proper to speculate what is it he did or is doing. - A scene is removed where Yhwach arragontly ignores Senjumara and steps leisurely pass her, it was a cool scene that express Yhwach's defiance against the Soul Palace and everything they stand for. - Assuming Ichigo remembers what his father told him about the past, this would be Ichigo's 1st interaction with Ganju while finally realizing they are related. Further Ganju makes an interesting claim, his sister knows a lot about the royal palace which again makes sense when you remember that the Shiba's were one of the 5 most Noble Clans. - When Yhwach escapes the Cage the camera seems to hone in on Uryu, many have speculated that it is Uryu's unknown ability that allowed for that to occur. The cage makes it impossible for things that have reishi to escape so whatever ability allowed him to get out must be quite strong. (This isn't how it occurred in the Manga so we don't know either) - Sidenote the anime seemingly makes huge changes because certain events in the manga which occurred in a certain manner have simply been completely changed, so even we manga readers have no idea what may happen at this point. - Sidenote some people think Yhwach is being metaphorical when he says "my father" but given the fact that he has the same eyes as the Soul King, it's to be assumed that Yhwach is in fact the son of the Soul King. Holy crap, yeah the possibility of Uryu having been the one to let YH out of the cage, that's a pretty cool prediction, and makes sense. Also an important side note, nimaiya states that he wasn't able to make a sheath for the sword he used and so, wasn't able to send it down to the seireiti. This links to the nature of zanpakuto, where a sheath is part of it and isn't whole without one, which also links to ichigos zanpakuto as he didn't gain it from an asauchi (last cour when he got new one) and didn't have a sheath so it wasn't complete.

Then add that perhaps the Soul King being a figurehead might be the cause of the Soul Society's corruption. Aizen see the truth of the Soul King and probably thinks, 'you're lame Soul King, I think I could do better than you' or something like that. Obviously, Yhwach's goal is also questionable. If it wasn't he wouldn't be the villain. But it seems like he had a plan. Not just resetting the world but also building something new. His journey doesn't end with him killing the Soul King and reverting the worlds, he wants to build a new one on top of the ashes of the 3 worlds. And we have no clue how it would look
What is it with people thinking Squad Zero is evil? @@narutoun3 This is just my guess, I haven't even read the comics. But this should be bleach mode, and we don't think the Guards will be killed so easily.
Ichigo already knows everything about the Soul King and Squad 0. It was shown to him during his training in those post credit scenes in the first half of this cour. The Zero Division have no sinister motives here. They simply wish to protect the Soul King, although the fact that they purposely let Yhwach invade might indicate something ulterior. Maybe they see him as a replacement, perhaps?

I'd much rather be protected by the Soul King than far weaker soldiers from some corrupt organization.
That soul king hand, seal yuha schrift thousand years ago, thats how yuha lose to yamamoto
Let’s be real. Ain’t no way yhwach’s royal guard is going down that easy with those sick character designs.
Ywach is the son of soul king
What is it with people thinking Squad Zero is evil? They’re just people doing their job, not their fault Ichibei looks a bit creepy, even then just because the Gotei hire people like Mayuri, doesn’t mean they’re all sick scientists. There’s a moral gray to what everyone does, villains and heroes all have reason for what they do.
brace thyselves boys, season finale is upon us. In kubo we trust!
Real Son! Heart missing too
Puff jacket gang
"look at that villainous energy".
Are you kidding me? He's not a villain. It's a baddass shot, but don't ruin it by completely misreading it.
1 hour episode next week and end of cour 2.
Bankai :- Shirafure Ichimonji
Don't understimate those yhwach royal guard,Those royal guard is much much stronger than uryu and jugram
not jugram, he out haxes them
@@prynce. Not with miracle
@@ikhlasulamal8067delusional 💯they are way above the royal guard 😂none of the royal guard hax even can compete with them even if you hurt them you just hurting yourself 🤦🏽♂️y’all be saying anything on here jugram being weaker than the royal guard? That’s crazy
@@pitoseavy4523 Just tell me how jugram can defeat lilie or gerard when they literally can't be killed
@@ikhlasulamal8067 how to in the hell they defeat jugram ? Literally anything they do he tip the scales to his favor and kills them😂easy and Lille can die homie🤦🏽♂️(he died) and gerard (kubo literally said how he can die so wym)🤣I can’t with this fandom cause jugram who takes all your fortune/luck etc… and turn it into his lose to ppl who got one shot but royal guard🤦🏽♂️yea ok..
The Quincy Royal Guard are more or less equal to the real royal guard. Atm they're not at full power. But, really,, if Yhwach sent them out they'd probably of crushed SS by themselves.
don't worry those squad 0 is immortal
I guess the Soul King should be like Yhwach, a person who can control all soul. Yhwach will resurrect the Bodyguard to contain the other three members of Squad Zero, so he can fight Ichibei 1-on-1 and seize the Soul King. Next everyone's battlefield will be transferred to the Soul King Palace cuz Ichigo must focus on stopping him . Urahara has more work to do😆
Dude SPOILERS wtf
@@narutoun3 This is just my guess, I haven't even read the comics. But this should be bleach mode, and we don't think the Guards will be killed so easily.
Yaaaas :3 first?
Ichigo already knows everything about the Soul King and Squad 0. It was shown to him during his training in those post credit scenes in the first half of this cour.
The Zero Division have no sinister motives here. They simply wish to protect the Soul King, although the fact that they purposely let Yhwach invade might indicate something ulterior. Maybe they see him as a replacement, perhaps?
