2000 damage from a poke is crazy
What scadutree fragments and solely damage talismans will do
I'm at NG+7 and scadutree lv20 dealing like 10k with 1 attack applying frost, and his health bar barely drops (maybe 12% ish).

My maliketh’s black blade was doing 2,800 earlier! No buffs just talismans! ^_^ I’m gonna try this build tomorrow though!
prob because counter damage + spear talisman(excluding buffs), in vid guy does 1300 dmg with normal R1

@@DefyYourWorldGaming bhs works insanely well vs all bosses... its funny since it got nerfed nobody used it anymore ... but its still bloody op... it also still works vs point blank waterfowl of malenia as of today.. i made a video about it some months ago how even the nerfed BHS lets you evade point blank waterfowl 1st flurry

Just out of curiosity, have you figured out any good ways to dodge the "clone" attacks in P2 without Bloodhound's Step? Preferably with mid roll as well. Specifically the one after he throws gravity rocks, and the overhead slam one I could never find a consistent way to avoid, just a way to try to minimize damage that worked maybe 75% of the time. I just was curious if anyone smarter than me had figured out something.

I think you can roll back to the right side, or just run backward like we avoid the waterflowl dance
Do you find it consistently easy to dodge his double slash into scissor combo? I find I always get clipped by the second swing. Any tips? Or is it just reaction speed?
Tbh I think that combo needs fixing it’s the only thing that consistently hits me even if I see it coming, the only time I’ve dodged all three hits is on complete accident, although I suppose I never tried using a light roll like this guy so that might help
The only "consistent" tip ive found is to dodge the first slash toward his right arm to outrack the second slash by recovering behind him, the problem is that if you're not already very close to him the second slash is a guaranteed roll catch.
2:06 I don't know if he got saved from the extra s or the hitbox somewhat forgave him but i've been hit by being further away than this behind the boss multiple time
3:20 If the boss decided to use that move right here it might have been gg for our no hitter
This move is plain bullshit and i'm sure it have not been playtested 100% not only that it's guaranteed roll catch but it comes out so fast and he can does it whenever the fuck he want, you have to expect it so this is extremely threatening and will make you do mistakes.
You can parry it, I literally just learned that 30 seconds ago

I was at max scadu blessing level
I went with the windy tear to have as many s as possible, but a sensible alternative would be any stat boosting tear that best suits your build

every boss in the dlc is harder than malenia by 10x, this boss is 90% rng in his second phase
Only this is harder than Malenia. Pretty much everything isn't that bad. Even this boss is pretty easy phase 1, phase 2 is just bullshit

He has buffs plus a talisman that increase’s damage of roll attacks.

Anyone know how to dodge the repeat slam attacks without bloodhound step? Is it even possible??
I noticed I was running right and he missed a few but I got hit before I dodge rolled.
@adreamingwolf the way you dodge it is to sprint backwards during the meteor attack then for the slams just keep walking to the right and roll twice for the aoe

@@rwgarchia5187 Yes! It works very well. Since the boss thrives off pretty much spamming u parrying makes it a bit easier. 3 parrys are a poise break.
@@DisMighty I honestly think this boss is just bullshit. Even if I dodged all his combo and decide to heal, there is a chance he can hit me which does not happen in Messmer fight. And many of his moves just either stay in air too long or move too far that his poise simply resets.
Oh, that’s great info. Haven’t tried it yet, but seeing this video I thought to myself a few times „this looks parryable“. Definitely gonna try it later in my next attempts. Thus far, he cleaned the floor with me. 😂

This boss insane, i was stuck on him for almost 7 hours, it forced me to respec and went for full strength, with a tanky build

2:06 I hate this move so much, I don't think it's possible to fully dodge it without light roll. My only solution was to use bloodhound step if I got hit by the second slash because for some reason the stagger doesn't allow you to dodge roll the cross-slash but it does allow you to use bloodhound step (and probably quickstep too)
Other than that this boss was so cool, extremely punishing second phase but nothing outright unfair.

Other than that, you have to stick to him the entire scond phase, he punishes dodging away from him with every single move he does.

You should show loadout and buffs, with this level of skill it would be fun to emulate and try but it’s hard when nobody knows what you’re using. What stats, what talismans etc.

What I honestly dislike about this fight is, that it’s not a fight. I mean with Gael you evade and hit, and hit and evade and so on. Not 30 seconds where you yourself, don’t attack at all. Here you evade, evade, evade, evade, evade, hit, evade, evade, evade. If I want to run, I grab shoes and go outside. It’s to much here.

Technically not magic because it’s an ash of war. While it sort of is magic, it sort of isn’t either because you don’t need a staff or seal to use it.
