You are an over comer, survivor, giver and a very funny and sweet man Matt. Blessings of strength and love for self that you have more discernment to know who to give your time to and who not to. But to always put yourself first. Hugs and healing my friend. Liked.
Thank you Monica, putting people first and being such a giving person was my downfall. I will admit this time it's proving really hard to recover but you will see that when I release each video. I hope it's not just informative for people watching, but will give hope to people who are trying to get over illness themselves, plus it's a video diary for my neurologist. I did think long and hard about whether to make these videos public, as they are so personal. I hope someone proves me right in the future with a comment that it helped them. Missing you baby girl and Kitti. I'll bounce back. Sending hugs and kisses to you both x
Cheers Ash. It is going to be a long road this time. Have absolutely no idea why this cluster of mini strokes have hit me so hard this time. Hopefully the videos I release will be of interest to viewers, people trying to recover themselves and it's a video diary for my neurologist, perhaps even an eye opener for some viewers. I've come this far, definitely no point even contemplating giving up. Many thanks for your support, it means more than you know. Stay safe.
Beautiful description of your journey so far and your faith in hoping for a future no matter how uncertain. None of us have a certain future but most don't have that uncertainty smacking them in the face. I wish you all the very best of luck on your journey and will join you if you don't mind. I just found your channel this evening and have been watching your videos from the start. I will continue watching tomorrow, I best get off now, I have to be up in 5 hours to go to work. Take care, Poo
Poo many thanks for your comment. This cluster of mini strokes has really knocked me for six this time. I'm usually out of bed by now. It is week 10. I was somewhat undecided whether to show this series. Some people might say I am looking for 'Woe is me'. I decided to show my journey, as it unravels, not only to hopefully be of interest to viewers, but to show how hard it is to recover from illness, maybe there are people out there bedridden or starting their own journey and they might take heart from my videos. It is also a video diary for my neurologist. Who knows in a few months time somebody may comment how my videos helped them? If that happened i'd be extremely humbled but also fully justified in my decision to show the videos. I would love you to follow me on my journey. Thank you for your kind words, subscribing, much appreciated. Stay safe. Matt.
Good luck on your road to recovery. You got this matt... it's hard .trust me I know all about the 1 step forward 10 back... but as you put it so well ...1 brick at a time. And this video is the first brick layed.
Thank you both, that means so much. This cluster of mini strokes has knocked me for six. I've never been in bed this long before. As I said in other replies, I did think long and hard whether to release these videos as they are so personal. Then i thought it could be informative for the viewer what I'm going through, hopefully it will help other people laid up and recovering from illness, but it's a video diary for my neurologist as well. I will keep on, i've got too much to offer the world. Thank you again both, it means alot.
Hey I've got to keep on fighting as I said I wanted to come over to Ireland and do some scrapping with you. I can't be letting you have all that copper to yourself...lol.
@@irishgoldstacker8018 I'll get a hotel. Sleep in my car or a tent. Now I know you really are trying to keep all that copper to yourself...lol. Wales is my Wales and soon Ireland will be My Ireland..lol. Speak soon.
This cluster of mini strokes has hit me for six this time. Totally came out of the blue. In each video viewers will be able to see how hard it is to recover from illness. I'm definitely going to keep on. I've got too much to offer this world. Thanks buddy for your kind words. Means a heck of alot.
@@streetcopper1151 Thanks for that. I was wondering whether to release these videos for people to see, already I'm glad. The kind words have lifted my spirits considerably. Thanks buddy. Hey don't forget to make a video about how you finish your copper bars, lots of people want to know. Thank your partner and boys as well. A huge thank you to you all.
hi matt am with you 100% on your road to recovery ...it's already one step forward for you by making your video and we are all behind you on your road to recovery matt ...talk soon my friend 👍
I was hesitant deciding whether to release the videos as they are highly personal, but also I was a little afraid people might see the videos as woe is me. I thought it would be of interest for viewers to see what I am having to do to get back on my feet. It's also a video diary for my neurologist, plus if anyone who is struggling to recover from illness takes something from the videos then that is so positive. I think if somebody commented in months to come leaving a message saying you've helped me, then I would feel humbled as well as justified for releasing the videos. I really appreciate your comment more than you know. Thanks buddy.
I think you made the right decision on doing your videos to your road to recovery matt. it's going to help people understand what you have been through and how hard it's been for you. it will not only help people with what you are going through it will also help me and all the great people what are subscribed to you plus your friends and family matt .I wish you the best of luck on your road to recovery buddy 👍
One thing is for sure Chris, this is going to be a long road. I'm sure as I release the videos Jeanette will be able to empathise fully with alot of things I've been through and am going through. Great to talk to you as always. Hope you and Jeanette will follow me on my journey. Stay safe. Matt.
Best of wishes for 2021 and your recovery. We indeed are all on a journey. I too am on a health journey so I will sympathize and empathize with you but most of all I will encourage you not to give up it is not the place to be stuck on the side of the road waiting for rescue. we must rescue ourselves. Cheers from North Carolina.
Oh Laura thank you so much. I have been thinking of you, funnily enough since before Christmas. You left 2 messages but I just couldn't type my replies. I will over the next few days. I really had to think hard whether to start releasing these videos as a series as they are so personal. As I said in a couple of replies, some people might see these videos as woe is me. I decided that they may prove of interest to any viewers, they are a video diary for my neurologist, plus there may be people recovering from illness who might take heart or dare i say inspiration from these videos. If in the months ahead i receive a comment from somebody who said the videos had helped them, not only would i feel humbled, but justified in releasing the videos. Good luck with your own health journey. If you need to talk there's always my email for things you don't want the whole world to know. Your comment really meant so much, thank you. Stay safe. Matt.
Thank you so much for your comment. I will admit this cluster of three mini strokes has hit me for six. Came out of nowhere as well. It was a hard decision whether to put the videos up on my channel as they are so personal. Some people might see it as 'woe is me', far from it. It might not only prove of interest to viewers, but there maybe people bedridden or ill that watch the videos and hopefully it will help them. It's also a video diary for my neurologist. If I received just one comment from a viewer in months to come to say that it helped them, what more could I ask for? and it would have fully justified my decision to put the videos on my channel. Your comment meant more than you know, also thank you for subscribing. They both mean alot. Stay safe. Matt.
I was deeply touched by this. I wish you well in your recovery. Sounds like a long hard road already. I had an accident in my 20's that took me two years to learn to walk. I understand pain and suffering as I have long term issues from that accident. You are in my thoughts my friend. Do not give in. For as long as it feels right, fight for who you are and who you can be
