Looks amazing. Quick question. Correct me if I'm wrong, Is it based on the same Kawasaki platform as the Moto Morini X-cape 650? I could help but notice a few similarities in the frame design and engine. Also, kudos to them, They've updated the UI for the 450 based Dash to include TPMS. All they need to do is update the 450 to the same interface and features. More on this bike please.
It ooks like they just upgraded the model. I thought they might have discontinued it due to the 800 mtx coming out. I wonder if they are moving away from the KTM engine due to the issues it is having and the ongoing financial difficulties. I would like to see the MTX here in the US as the 800E model is rather heavy.
I believe they are on a mission to satisfy all customers' tastes. Not sure if they're departing from ktm but the 800mtx is based on the ktm engine, this 700mt is CFs own engine.
@ The 700 isn't CF's own engine imo, I thought it was from Kawasaki Versys and they have the licence to produce it now, they even outsource it to MotoMorini in the X-CAPE.
@@ChuckChen100 Yes you're right. The 3-piece box are optional, and I don't need them, but crashguards are pretty mandatory to protect the bike since you will likely drop it at some point, even without offroad use. Anyway, I think the bike is heavy, way too heavy to consider as a real option, especially when something like a KOVE 800X is more capable and weighs only 183kg fully-laden!
I think it comes down to the materials used. The 700MT is even cheaper than the 450MT at the time I'm writing this. It's just about suboptimal materials on the chassis/mainfraime that makes it heavier. I could be wrong ofc.
Been a while but you are back, good feed!
Good to see you! Wow! What a bike! Good job!
Thanks a lot for leaving a word. Nice bike indeed.
sir, nice review. Hi from malaysia...
Nice review thank you
Very nice, does it have quick shifter as a standard?

It's a 650 kawa platform.

I heard that fuel consumption is quite high😁
CFMOTO are The Game Changer
250kgs no thanks!
That’s the weight with the crash guards and boxes

The 800MT-X is 210 kg with 22L fuel tank and more power. How can the 700MT is way heavier and inferior in many different ways?

700MT must be made out of lead or tungsten. Lol
