For the first month of a new release, what amount of money should you be prepared to lose on amazon ads? I know this question needs more context but can you provide a rough estimate? Or maybe an example from one of your previous campaigns? Thank you, Dane.
Awesome vid Dane! I kind of have a little off-topic question tho. How do you keep everything organized? I mean the steps that are needed in publishing. I get that your course goes over all these steps but do you have some kind of step-by-step plan? Or is it just so easy for you because you’ve done it so often.
The program contains a resource that is a Google Sheet that has the entire publishing process step by step... As you move along, you can check the box to show that you're ready to move on to the next step
@@DaneMcBeth hi I have a question please How can I write a book direct on amazon KDP site,or I need to write it separately and download it after there? Please let me know is very important for me I am a girl 14 years old a big fan of you already subscribed on your channel Thanks!
Thanks Dane! About the first 30 days, what do you generally do when contacting influencers to promote the book? For example, do you buy your own book through Amazon and have it delivered to them, and pay them a certain fee for doing a post about it?
@@SunnyWinterz Higher. "How much does an influencer charge?" is kinda like "How much does a house cost?" How big? Where? Etc. There's the value of their "influence". The advertising cost. But also just their time. You want them to read it (1 hour? More?) Make the video. (Half hour? Two?) Plus "use their brand" for you.
If you publish books from completely different categories. Do you publish them under a different pen name? Let's say gardening books under Sue Swan and finance as Ally McTee.
When you reference a previous video, please include a link to it either embedded in the video or in the description. I really wanted to see your video on launching a book but none of the titles of your recent video's indicate which one. Don't make us hunt for something because they'll do what I'm about to do...go find a video on it somewhere else.
Thanks for the suggestion Jeff, will make that happen in the future... My bad for forgetting. Here is my recent video on launching and ranking your books: ruclips.net/video/aDrzY_CFqBw/видео.html

Thank you for not only being honest (it’s refreshing), and direct. It’s appreciated.
I appreciate that
Such a great channel! We have a bunch of books and plays that were written at our studio and excited to explore the self publishing option! Thank you!
Thank you for useful information once again Dane!
My pleasure!
Love this video/content

Thanks!
Yes, you have to create and format it offsite. Then upload.
@@normal3800 You are very welcome. Good luck with your project.
@@normal3800 Sorry, Voi. I don't know a lot about kdp. I have only looked, not done. The other question was more basic.
When you say: try a new cover, do you mean upload a duplicate ISBN listing with a new cover OR editing an existing book with a new cover look?
Just update the listing :)
Great, helpful content!
Your videos are great! Ty! Where should we record our audio books?
I hire people through ACX to do it for me

Yes, that would be exactly how you'd do it 👍🏼
@@DaneMcBeth Perfect thank you. How much is typical to pay someone? For example, $50 for a RUclips review or lower/higher?

Make the video. (Half hour? Two?)

I’ve made lots of those mistakes!
oh no!
Is the word "perfect" cause problems with kdp?
Please help me a have a lot of books with this word
How long did you publish before you started learning ads?
I did them right away
If you publish books from completely different categories. Do you publish them under a different pen name? Let's say gardening books under Sue Swan and finance as Ally McTee.
Did you use Publisher Rocket before book beam?
No, I used KDSpy

why amazon kdp take too many days to review a book?
Can happen sometimes, just be patient.
I created 185 books in my first 30 days.... yikes... that's a lot of babies to keep alive in 30 days... learning curve HA Lesson learned.
That's why I don't love low content book publishing.
@@DaneMcBeth I'm excited for high content this year!

Again. No getting to the point until 1.30 minutes in 😅
there's a scrubbing feature for a reason :)
