It's not that he particularly dislikes his role of Han Solo, it's the fact that is the only thing people know him for. Not to mention he also felt that Han didn’t have much gravitas/depth or purpose within the story. He tried to get Lucas to let Han die, to have his death transfer agency to the other characters. Lucas didn’t go for it. So, Ford has specific memories over the reached hope for the character, that was denied. Then again when filming was complete on The Force Awakens, Ford told JJ Abrams that he was pleased with where the sequel trilogy had taken Han. So he got his hope in the end for his character even if it was forty years later.

I don’t know if I agree, it seems to me that evil people are the ones who are most obsessed with the idea of evil. Hitler convinced Germany that the Jews were evil, Mao convinced China that the Han Chinese were evil, and Lenin convinced Russia that Capitalism was evil. Certainly some people use moral ambiguity as a defense, but if you want to convince people to do evil, you have to convince them that they are acting against evil.

prequel and comics literally destroyed the whole good and evil thing. The jedi can be terrible as the sith. Look at the state of coruscant before and after the clone wars. Palpatine was also initially portrayed in the comics an imperial bureaucrat rather than a tyrannic authoritarian and he kept Darth Vader from using his weapons as a solution every time, instead wanting to solve things politically. The theme fits the original more.
Sometimes there is sometimes there isn't. Palpatine is an eveil character without a doubt. Same with Cad Bane. Could we call Boba Fett an evil character though? And what about Luke? He committed a mass genocide by destroying the Death Star. That's more than Grievous or Dooku which were considered to be war criminals. And how about Thrawn? My favorite scene, as a super-fan of StarWars, was when Leia disguised herself as Boba Fett and snuck into Jabba’s hut to rescue Luke from the cryptonite and got caught, and also that Han was blind and didn’t get to see her in her gold lingerie, but Luke did. And that big goblin thing tried to eat Luke, but he killed it with his magic powers cause he didn’t have his light sword.

To be fair they've made it clear in the books and to a degree in the TV shows that this guy is technically right. Both the Mortis episode from TCW and then parts of books. The most enlightened Jedi come to this conclusion, that both the dark side of the force and the light side are 2 sides of the same coin. The most diehard SW fans have talked EXTENSIVELY about this.

Janitors on the Death Star who just wanted to feed their families were killed. No everyone from the Death Star personel was a freak like Tarkin. Luke didn't care a killed them all. Even Grievous who is considered to be a war criminal haven't killed so many people at once.

I always found the "But there were people on the Deathstar!" argument weird, or lets say: people who really used that as an argument against Luke scared me.
So the people on the Deathstar erradicated species like the Genoshans, enslaved other species and destroyed 4 planets already when Luke finally blew it up. At which point it becomes morally "ok" to take out that thing? Only after the tenth destroyed planet?
Sure, Stormtroopers were conscripted or fresh from the academy, but if you don't desert after you see that your boss goes around and blows up whole planets, even your home planet, then its on you.
There are enough examples in the EU of imperials deserting as soon as they learned from Alderaan (i.e. Tycho Celchu, cool guy, one of my favorite Rogue Squadron members), so there are no excuses.
