    Oh! This lady is in a class by herself!
    Not only is she a beauty but every time she speaks, silver coins pop out of her mouth and when she sings, gold Sovereigns!
    I would so like to attend one of her instructive classes!

    Isn't Dasida the most amazing seasonng ? I love it all the flavours. Beef, anchovy clam. I was waiting to see if you would put some beef dasida in this. Yummy.

      Hi 👋 Dashida is a staple in every Korean household, although some are very secretive about it.
      I didn’t put any Dashida in this BulGoGi stew bcuz it was so yummy already.

    • @ModernPepper
      @ModernPepper  Год назад +2

      Thanks! My aunt did share her MakGeolli recipe with me. She makes it taste like how it was made, not fuzzy or light tasting like the bottled ones. Her’s is thick and so yummy, but strong. I had two bowls of her’s and had to take a nap😂
      Anyway, one day I might do recipe video on it, but will need to test it out many times because it is an exact science kind of recipe with so much TLC involved.

      Thank you🙏 Bulgogi beef stew (TtukBaeGi BulGoGi) is a more casual stew, which is why you won’t find it on most Korean restaurant menus, unless u r at a casual dining restaurant. BuemShikJeom or Taxi-Restaurants would serve casual stews like this Bulgogi stew. Having said that, Bulgogi JeonGol is the fancy version of this stew (serves 4 to 6 people), made to order, and cooked at table side. It is expensive and only available at ‘fancy’ Korean restaurants.
      Thanks for cooking Korean food with me🙏

      Hi 👋 Not sure what Chiso is, unless u meant Shiso soy sauce, which is Japanese. There are lots of dishes what we make using soy sauce. There are many differ r kinds of Korean soy sauces. Watch my MUST HAVE Korean Seasonings Tutorial to learn more about it.

    Is there any other type of noodles that are suitable? For some reason i can't find these types of noodles here. I can find the other Korean seasonings though.

    • @ModernPepper
      @ModernPepper  Год назад

      Hi 👋 Can u order from Amazon? The product links are listed in this YT video’s description box. Sweet potato starch noodles are hard to substitute bcuz most noodles r flour based. If u can’t order the sweet potato starch noodles, try adding pieces of flour dough, instead of other flour based noodles. The small pieces of dough with the soup will go well. The recipe for this simple dough is here ruclips.net/video/QVZRZTnrAZ4/видео.html

      Hi Carl! The written recipe is noted on the video and the written recipe links are listed in the description box of each YT video recipes.
      You are totally entitled to your opinion on calling the Korean ingredients and kitchen gadgets as ‘junk.’
      FYI - For many of my subs, these Korean ingredient links are invaluable for them to use as a reference when grocery shopping for Korean ingredients.
      And also for those that do not live near a Korean market, these product links r invaluable to them as they can order these online, so that they can make Korean food at home even if they can’t get to a Korean market.
      All the ingredient links listed in the description box r specific to the recipe, as well as the kitchen gadgets used.
      The potential affiliate marketing commission is minimal, and not all products pay out commissions. So $5 product, I may or may not see a $0.50 cent commission, 3 months later, that is if the vendor pays commissions. Then I have to pay 40% tax on $0.50 commission. These affiliate marketing links are NOT listed for the purpose is making $. Again, I list them for my viewers that r interested in buying the Korean ingredients for the recipe they r watching.
      Obviously, my channel is not ur cup-of-tea. Thanks for visiting my channel🙏. I’m sure you can find other channels that perfectly suit ur taste and that doesn’t ‘promote junk,’ as u put it.
