This theme is still a banger. I miss themes like this that have lyrics written about the wrestler themselves. I think the only current one that has that kind of theme is Kenny Omega. Ciampa, Gargano and The Miz all have themes with lyrics but they're more general platitudes than specific references to the wrestler they represent.
I wonder if Mick Foley had some input to this theme. I say this because Mick has said he was a huge Frank Zappa fan... and the guy doing the vocals in this song is trying his hardest to sound like mid 70's Zappa, and does a pretty decent job of it.

"Broken bones on a country floor are really more his thing" would definitely describe the country bar where Homer met Lurleen Lumpkin. Homer even maintained his love of football and wrestling in a recent Treehouse of Horror. The Simpsons will always screw with the wrestling world, regardless of what promotion it may be.
