While most of the themes on this album were pretty garbage, this was a major upgrade for the Stinger over the generic, Ultimate Warrior ripoff theme he started with.
Like the Rick Rude theme, this song has a pointless, musically inferior, even tediously boring intro section before it really gets going. The first 15 seconds could easily have been deleted. Maybe they did that on purpose so the ring announcer could talk over that part?
