Blacksmiths are a god gifted engineers to human being....but it is very sad to say that nobody cares for them..but my great respect and salute to them.
There are many many skills which require many many higher levels of "god gifted"-ness. For example a pianist has had to learn dozens of difficult theories and practice complex patterns for years. The guy in this video is just using some scribes and wacking a tool with a hammer. I think a lot of people let them fool themselves by the silly video title.
Highly skilled and expert! Imagine the safety equipment he'd have to wear in the US. Plus, he'd have a manager, supervisor, two union delegates and an HR rep!

Really appreciate the hard work of this gentleman. The only thing which I didn't like is the Nerolac Synthetic Varnish; it will only give shine but it is simply poison.
Yes exactly. This was great up until that point. Although I still respect and admire the work! It would be safer, better and cheaper to season it like the Chinese, etc, season their woks! Not all oils are as hydrophobic as others, even when oxidised, so some moisture may contact the metal after some days, or months - but Castor oil, for example, is more hydrophobic than many other oils (perhaps that's part of the reason why it was used in engines, etc?), so that could be used if other oils aren't protective enough before sale. After that, oil could be washed off, or gradually replaced with another oil for regular seasoning. But keep in mind that there is some debate about using Castor oil internally, so maybe another oil would be better. And some oils are more carcinogenic than others due to smoke point, etc.
@@kiran7354 Thanks, this is useful to know! There is imported cookware being sold at Indian supermarkets, etc, all over the world - Alot of it has a handmade look like this, so i'm guessing some of that could be coated in varnish also? See my comment below about 'seasoning' using oil.

@@deaniversen351 You're right. There are several billion people that don't use or need a variety of pots and pans because they cook everything in one device.
