Ches Lee Pack Exactly! ppl want rock n rollers to have Godly voices like Michael Jackson or Freddie Mercury or somethin lol Vince had that perfect punk/glam hair metal voice that was distinct & that seperated them from every other hair metal band . Motley is the greatest !!

Not a huge diehard Motley fan but really admire Mars as a guitarist he can play. Awesome to see Crue so young, lean, moving well on stage and playing so well sober. What a moment in time. Forgot how many good songs they had. The dancer chicks were hot back then.

Vince and David lee Roth were the 2 most imitated singers of that era. A young Vince Neal was really fantastic frontman. And he’s definitely a big reason why the crue became big.
This was my first ever rock concert. I was 12 years old and absolutely terrified. The concert itself was amazing but I remember the crowd (at least in my mind) got progressively more violent as the night went on. I remember multiple bloody fist fights going on. Very cool to see it again after all these years.
this is what the crue was like in the early 80's I think that they are all sober here. when Vince was young he was one of the best front man to come out of that era. its amazing to me that people put him down so much now the man is almost 60 and people are comparing him to 20 year Olds. plus no one partied like the crue did no one... had to do some damage to his voice. Thank You Motley CRUE. SEE WHY they were so big listen to Vince's voice in this video. and Motley Crue does not need the money they do the shows because they love the Rock and I'm pretty sure they didn't think their fans would be so f****** judgmental of them. dudes think about it we weren't that picky in the 80s. Vince Neil is pushing 60.WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM HIM.
And after all this time i found this. I had a crush on Emi Canyn before she joined the Crue. She lived with me a couple months, I drove her to gigs with She Rok. She was so lovely, sweet. So sad to hear she died. RIP my gal....
Wow sometimes your just going through life minding your own buiesness and bam instantly one of what will be top 5 videos that you will see in your lifetime just hits you outta nowhere. Holy shit thank you whoever posted this video you god damn hero! 32 year old crue fan who discovered my dads albums and was hooked. Forever my favorite band. Can't belive how good they sound here. Stick sweet into solo into wild side was just the bees knees. Crue head for life.
I'm still in love with The Nasty Habits.... RIP Emi Schmidt one of the Nasty Habits died 2017 @62. Great show, thank you for the upload...I saw these guys on this tour Nov '89 Birmingham NEC UK...Shame there was no drum solo on this video, he played a great solo at Birmingham in a little cage ball, upside down and round and round..
Man.....what an Era!! Tommy banging those drums, Nikki slapping the bass, Mick shredding guitar riffs (most underrated guitar player ever) and Vince Screaming those vocals......I feel bad for kids of today that have no idea what Real Rock and Roll was like! I showed my daughter some Motley and said "This is what your dad (me) grew up with........she now has about 20 Motley songs on her phone! Shes 11 (parenting win!!)
I saw this tour in New Orleans on January 16, 1990. Warrant opened. Both bands were absolutely tight and put on a killer show. To-date still one of my top 10 concerts of all time.
Thank you so much for posting this. I saw them with the Dr. Feelgood tour in the Skydome Skybowl in Toronto Canada. It is to this date, one of the best performances I ever saw. God, they know how to put on an amazing show. Those of us who were so lucky to live through the 80's and 90's when the metal bands were still touring, know how blessed we were. The camaraderie amongst people on those shows, the friends we made, the face to face interaction ( no cell phones), the real world, the real life, the amazing music, the love, the spirit in the air I wish would come back.
I bet it was!! I am sure the Strip clubs made a fortune that night too!! Lol. What a GREAT time for raw and real music. Beautiful badasses fer sure! Rock on .🤘💕🤘💕💋
I barely remember this concert because I was half drunk, hungover like hell, and screaming like hell, I literally almost died of dehydration. Ahhhh, the decadence 🤟🤟🤟
Nikki is like a giant, handsome muppet. Always love watching him play live. There will never be another band on par with them, in my opinion. What they had was beyond talent. It was rare, perfect chemistry, like the first kiss with your soulmate.
Tommy...I mean really. The feel, power, the look...no mercy. There’s a saying your band is only as good as your drummer.... Tommy is prime example. Unreal.
I saw their Dr. Feelgood show in Providence. Faster Pussycat was their supporting act. They were both awesome. I was part of Motley Crue's fan club known as the SIN Club. They were my favorite group back then, so it was awesome to finally see them live. They were in top form. The show was nonstop energy. The audience was truly rewarded. This is what a concert should be - much love and energy shared between the performer(s) and the audience.
I think the Dr Feelgood tour was when they were at the top of their game. They were clean (mostly), rehearsed, sounding great...and the show had a ton of energy.
Funny, people go on and on about how bad Vince was and yet you watch this show and for the most part, he's solid. To do that what, 3-4 times a week on this tour? I remember when he came through my town he sounded good too. Is he a well trained singer? No, but he had a unique tone and he could reproduce it reasonably well live in my opinion.
He was on Super 🌟 Star trejectery until that sad car accident..Think that truly affected him and took many years to heal that Trauma.Agreed fantastic Band..love these Guys forever.Legendary.
This is definitely as good as he ever sounded live. Voice sounds strong. Whole band sounds good. Saw them at Nassau Coliseum on this tour for the third and last time.
Dr.Feelgood was my second Motley Concert, My first was Girls, Girls, Girls! Both tours were Amazing! Hollywood Fl and Miami FL "88" "91" The Good Old Days🤘
Motley was at the very TOP of their game at this point in their career. After Dr. Feelgood they slowly came back down to earth. Man, it must have felt good on top of the world though. They were a well-oiled machine on this night. Wish I was there! Best 80s Hard Rock band, hands down.
i miss Motley Crue a lot.. but yeah...we cant stay young forever.. Motley Crue is one among the top best Of Rock in the 90es.. this concert was MOTLEY THE THE BEST CRUE TIME💖
Just scrolling through the comments to see if Vince got the proper praise for this performance. I wasn't let down. Of all the live concert footage I've seen of the Crue here on RUclips (including their first gig at the Starwood back in '81, the US Festival, the Theater of Pain era, Girls, Girls, Girls, etc...) this is by far the strongest and tightest the band ever was. Sure, they were allegedly at each other's throats throughout the Dr. Feelgood tour (and unsurprisingly probably led to their initial demise) but DAMN were they ON IT. That's a world class rock n roll show. Vince sang with serious power and was (mostly) on key, especially during the Dr. Feelgood cuts. See kids what you can accomplish with (relative) sobriety and focus? Great upload!
Jesus how time flies! I was 20 when I saw The Feelgood Tour twice. Been to all the 80s shows starting with Shout but this was their absolute best since getting sober. Sound was incredible!
Its a damn shame they didn't have one of these shows pro shot and released as a live album. I would take it over any of the live releases they did later on.
Adding to that, I met her at Oscar's nightclub in Anaheim, California while drawing caricatures of her band, Canon. I asked her out and amazingly she said yes. I will treasure the time we had together, and the dual-massage I gave her and her friend Suzanne Girard. GoodBye.
I live about 40 minute from Weedsport NY... and it still amazes me at the big names that have played there. Weedsport is a local dirt care racing track, was back then and still is today (2020) and the facilities are WAY better now than back this time. Be awesome if these bands came around again. !!!!
i will still never forget the dr. feelgood tour the 2nd rock show i had ever seen live i was 14 years old and to this day it was still the loudest show i ever witnessed the pyrotechnics was loud the music was loud the crowd noise was loud i can easily say i lost a bit of hearing that night... and it was glorious!

Holy shit thank you whoever posted this video you god damn hero! 32 year old crue fan who discovered my dads albums and was hooked. Forever my favorite band. Can't belive how good they sound here. Stick sweet into solo into wild side was just the bees knees. Crue head for life.
Maybe the best Vince's live perfomance. Sounds really good here.
Motley Crue never held back. They gave their %100 at every show. This may be their best tour ever.
It really was. I still remember when they played dr feelgood on this tour when i saw them.
easily the best boot I have seen from this tour ... The Crue at their absolute peak ... great to see even 26 years later ...
The pre and post parking lot parties were epic back then.
What a show! Pure fun, very well played. They were on fire.
God bless Mick!! Always was the kick in as best in my book!!
I actually worked this show and it was something to behold
Very cool!
I bet it was!! I am sure the Strip clubs made a fortune that night too!! Lol. What a GREAT time for raw and real music. Beautiful badasses fer sure! Rock on .🤘💕🤘💕💋
I was born a decade too late, I'd kill to have seen them back then
Yep they are great live, trust me I know. My wife's favorite band.....not mine, but still fun and good music.
I barely remember this concert because I was half drunk, hungover like hell, and screaming like hell, I literally almost died of dehydration. Ahhhh, the decadence 🤟🤟🤟
Jesus Christ the stage presence these guys had here is insane, even Tommy gets the crowd going! Brilliant.
And this was before Tommy was doing a roller coaster above the crowd. Just incredible
Nikki is like a giant, handsome muppet. Always love watching him play live. There will never be another band on par with them, in my opinion. What they had was beyond talent. It was rare, perfect chemistry, like the first kiss with your soulmate.
This has to be them at their peak, no? Show, performance, catalogue, cohesion as a band . . . thx 4 posting.
I thought the Theatre Of Pain Tour was their peak but that`s just my opinion
...and the #1 album in the world!
Tommy...I mean really. The feel, power, the look...no mercy. There’s a saying your band is only as good as your drummer.... Tommy is prime example. Unreal.
I know Motley Crue is hard rock but it was nice to see a bluesy side during the Mick Mars guitar solo. Very talented.
Good times. Good memories. My first concert was Warrant/Motley Crue Feb. 4, 1990 in Charlotte, N.C.
Use this as a bring back the 80’s button!!
Thank you to all the people who filmed whole concerts in the 80s I’ve never been able to see in real life.
Sigh. Take me back to this life. Adulting in 2021 is a little much.
Totally agree
Emi Canyn Mars" - 05.12.1954 - 25.02.2017 Rest In Peace baby... (((
Wow, what a shame, i had no idea, that she had passed away.
May she rest in peace.
He was great until the weight gain. That's when he sang like half of the lyrics.
Looks like he is trying though.
One of the most talented, iconic, unique and recognizable voices in music. He’s my idol
He was on Super 🌟 Star trejectery until that sad car accident..Think that truly affected him and took many years to heal that Trauma.Agreed fantastic Band..love these Guys forever.Legendary.
He got old, it happens to every rock star. It's a young man's game.
This is definitely as good as he ever sounded live. Voice sounds strong. Whole band sounds good. Saw them at Nassau Coliseum on this tour for the third and last time.
How can you not love that drumming 👍🤘
Saw this tour in Winston Salem NC. In my mind nobody could compare back then. They brought the whole damn show!!!
Dr. Feelgood tour with Tesla I saw this tour In 1990 in Old Orchard Beach, Maine what a show thanks for the memories 🤘🤘
thanks for posting this. Really great concert. I wish I had seen them back then. I would have loved it.
Dr.Feelgood was my second Motley Concert, My first was Girls, Girls, Girls! Both tours were Amazing! Hollywood Fl and Miami FL "88" "91" The Good Old Days🤘
Wow Motley Crue we're really at the Top of Their Game on This Tour, They were tight AF!
Tommy Lee is the core of this solid band as far as performance is concerned, his playing is so stable, powerful and to the point.
Agreed.
Wonderfull...
Motley Crue is one among the top best Of Rock in the 90es..
this concert was MOTLEY THE THE BEST CRUE TIME💖
Vince is freaking killing it... Fak the haters...
God I miss those days so much
Just scrolling through the comments to see if Vince got the proper praise for this performance.
Mick's mirror top Kramer Tele is still my favorite guitar of all time.
💯 🎯🎯🎯
Amazing watching them perform around this time. They were really in their prime
Just stumbled across this video... I was at this show! Still have the ticket stub. This was the best concert that summer.
Crue were without doubt one of the most exciting bands of this genre. It was a perfect line up
Without a fricking doubt
i will still never forget the dr. feelgood tour the 2nd rock show i had ever seen live i was 14 years old and to this day it was still the loudest show i ever witnessed the pyrotechnics was loud the music was loud the crowd noise was loud i can easily say i lost a bit of hearing that night... and it was glorious!
Same on all counts, but March 1990!
If there was a time machine I would go back to the 90s to visit such shows, they were so young and rocked like crazy❤
Holy shit Vince sounds great
I remember being in 5th grade at the time, listening to this cassette on a Walkman in my folks van on long drives to soccer games. Dr. Feelgood always got me goin!!
