I hope it works out eventually. Don't feel shy to try it at first even with a 20-30cm connector. That way you might already have a feel of that tapping motion.
Absolutely fantastic tutorial. The most thorough tutorial and breakdown I've seen. Not a move I've learned honestly, prochux are very different. Will work on it with longer cord tools though. Thanks JJ, you're an amazing teacher. The best, both in skills and teaching methods.
@@jj_nunchaku They sure are! It's really fun transferring techniques across both styles though. I'm having a blast learning some long cord freestyle as well. Your videos are just superb. Best of luck training and teaching!
It requires great skill to make the nunchucks spin on and on. You do it very nicely as if the nunchucks are part of your own body. Thanks for sharing the way to do it. 🙏🙏
hello sir, i recently disscovered your channel through your flame sword videos, can you please share any link or place where you bought that sword, and if you still have it audience would love to have a tutorial on how it works, litreally thousands have been searching for the flaming sword tutorials,
I have questions , if my nunchuck is connected to each other with chains instead of rope , will it work or should I buy one that has rope like this video ?
Speed + standing close to your camera 😉. It sometimes helps - when I feel like losing the rhythm - to aim my fingerprint downwards .. and then it can suddenly go really fast.
That would be close to a minute, till my underarm and finger gets sour and lactic. I guess I should find a more relaxing way of execution this. Since I am tournament focussed, I am gonna leave this trick on the side for now. Maybe one day I will pick it up again.
@@ANG-MO-KOW I had to work for it. It's not the hardest single trick to do but for sure the most awkward since it goes totally against any other roll that I pull of for years
@@ANG-MO-KOW Its JJ and Levi now, that's the only people I've seen do this trick like this. Levi can spin it on one finger I think like six minutes, of course that will hurt your finger.
@@counterstrike89 Levi has some serious finger spin moves (thanks for pointing that out). Would be pretty cool to throw this into the guinness book of records xD.
@@counterstrike89 I’ve seen him do it in some recent videos. You can also do this move going reverse. I mostly see people doing it forward but I feel it is more controllable in reverse. Also if you have your hand closed instead of open you can transfer between fingers and keep it going easier.
@@117dude Really, do you have a link where Ken is doing this trick, would be cool to see it, I'm just talking about spinning with one finger infinitely, not switching fingers.
@@counterstrike89 I’ll have to look for it. I think it was one of his shorts or on instagram. Yeah I was talking about infinitely spinning on one finger and then transitioning to an infinite finger spin on another without stopping. I generally consider 10 rotations on a single finger to equal an infinite finger spin.
That's awesome that you figured this out, so few people do this trick, thanks for posting this, there's like no tutorials on it. Tough to know what chucks work best for it, I know that Levi Levier uses fire ignite chucks, they have a slight metal ring around the tips to give some weight, which I think helps in the rotation. ruclips.net/video/O-lHl6tqiRI/видео.html
@@jj_nunchaku Yeah, I noticed Levi's rope is pretty long also, I'm trying it with lighter foam with six inch rope about, still can't do it, so I guess the weight matters. Great job, cracking the code, you're now one of the few who are able to do this trick, along with, and Michelangelo, 90's TMNT.
@@counterstrike89 hehe, well, it's for sure a nice one. I still prefer the 9DR and the K&F above this infinite, but it does for sure catches the right attention.
I have been struggling so hard with this trick. Thanks so much JJ. Hopefully these tips will help me master this one.

That's way too kind, Brian. Thank you. Prochux are indeed quite the opposite of the ideal setup ;-)

This one is on my bucket list. Thanks JJ!
Good luck with this one, Rupert!

It works evenly well for me with chain. I even know a player who can do it better with chain than with rope. Try it all out if you can. Good luck!

У меня тяжёлые нунчаки. Можно ли такой трюк сделать с весом нунчаку 800 грам?
Sure it can 😉

Did you make this nunchaku yourself? Can you make a quick comment or video telling how?
Hi! This is just a random beginners nunchaku I bought years back. I bet you can easily find one alike on the internet.
Where you bought in internet can you share me the link
what is the longest time you can spin?

Generally consider this move to be the hardest single move(non combo) but is the one everyone wants to learn lol
I don't think I've seen Ken Hill do it either, not sure, although I'm sure he could figure it out.

It took me a while to be honest. I still can't do it with me 100grams/9.5cm rope ... so the change of nunchaku was a game changer.
