Hey folks! This was our first time playing (apart from Raakam who played in a game at GenCon last year), so feel free to let us know where we got the rules wrong but please do so in a kind and respectful manner!

Hey... since you asked. First small thing I noticed is Illarum using a hope to give themselves advantage. You can only do that for your party members.

I like the evasion and damage mechanic. To me, it's conceptually more accurate.

I'm not very far in yet, but this seems like a fun group! And it's great to see Daggerheart in action!

I'm not sure if it's "wrong", I don't recall how Liam used it, but I take the Seraph class ability to be specific to the dice. "You can exhaust them at any time to use their value in reducing incoming damage, adding to a roll result, or exchanging for that many Hope you may give to any player." So, there were 2 dice rolled, I think a 3 and a 2. I take that to mean you can use them for 2 things, for their value. Raakaam split it 3 to himself, and 1 to the others I think, but my interpretation of it would be you could give 3 hope to player A, and 2 to player B, because that's what is on the die facing. (Or in a different example, like to reduce damage, you could get hit and choose to reduce the damage by 3, 2, or both for 5.)
Might be a bit nit picky, and I may be wrong, the game rules overall seem super loosy goosy in favor of fun.
(Haven't read through the actual manual yet, only through section 1 so far, but saw all the CR things, and have been contemplating a Lizard from Marquet Seraph (Do you spice?), so trying to figure those specific rules out too. :) )
