  • I'm often asked what I do if someone I am trying to hypnotize doesn't respond. Another common question I get is what to do if someone doesn't respond to a suggestion. Well, this little demonstration had both events. I hope you can learn something from it.
    If you really want to learn how to be a Corporate Hypnotist, you should attend our first ever event in Orlando on January 9th-10th.
    • Anthony Galie announce...

      Yes and no. Anthony is demonstrating a rather formalized version of hypnosis and if you fought against it, you'd win. However, we are constantly hypnotized in one way or another all the time. We all live in our own realities because our brains are locked away in our skulls and spend all day interpreting what the nerve impulses we 'feel' actually mean. Our eyes for example see upside down and only the centre sees in colour (your peripheral vision is in black and white) but our brains reinterpret that to be 3d and colour all around. In fact, our brains create a whole reality for us to 'believe' is real and this is why no two people agree on everything 100%. It's why there are so many religions and interpretations of similar events. But you are also an amalgam of your closest friends and family members because they influence your reality a lot. If all your friends are fitness hounds, you're probably in good shape, if they are all rich, you're probably doing pretty good yourself, if they are all assholes, well...
      Hypnosis works because it's very natural and you have been hypnotized to believe many things about life and 'reality' based on what your brain chose to interpret it to be. The good news is, if it chose a limiting belief that holds you back in life, it's easy enough to change it to something else. The bad news is, other people use hypnotic techniques to control you. Sales people, Marketers, the Press, Politicians, Cults, sometimes even Lovers that manipulated you in the worst ways. Frankly, it's very much worth learning hypnosis to start to understand how you are being manipulated in your everyday life as well as to understand how you can create the better life you deserve.

    I've been studying hypnosis for a short time. It is real but not what the majority of people believe it is. They are hypnotized and it is a nice feeling to be hypnotized. It's possible to break hypnosis too but usually the subject is quite content with staying hypnotized. His demonstration was amazing too. He isn't doing the whole showmanship act that most hypnosis entertainers do. He is teaching honestly. Kudos

If you did some research (and I mean going through actual scientific journals) you’ll find many psychologists agree that hypnosis is a real thing. Ducky1521 Hypnosis does not contradict the Bible because hypnosis is not wizardry or some form of blasphemous magic. Everyone has been hypnotized at some point in their life, whether it was while watching a movie and the time just passed incredibly fast, or you went on your first roller coaster ride and you can't remember it very well. Hypnosis is just talking to the subconscious of a person. It isn't mind control, and the person can only be hypnotized if they give consent, if someone rejects a suggestion, they can just wake him or herself up or just not go into trance. Unless you are a soulless creature that has no subconsciousness, you can be hypnotized. Btw, videos do not work on most people because if the subject reacts in a way that the person in the video did not expect, the trance will not work. All you have to do is open your mind.

      @@troyboi7662 thats actually not true. wanting , consent etc has nothing to do with susceptibility to hypnosis. however its not advise to go against that ... it can leave the person scared for life mentally, like rape.especially if the hypnotist abuses the situation. (And any serious hypnotist knows this its like the first thing they mention in a book and that is why they play the consent card all the time) if you look at the videos of the guy above you will find a few people who had issues ... being hypnotised while not on stage/targetted , or hands shaking etc. there is one where he asks about 5-10 times , are you ok and such ... brings her on stage etc ... sends her back after hockus pokus still gets hypnotised .. rare cases as he says.

      Salma ......so many examples of people being in vastly different brainwave states and still experiencing full hypnotic phenomenon. In my estimation the states sort of exist in parallel and just need to be accessed. Some people respond more readily to this....others require a more progressive approach to achieve the same result.

      @@Salma-nz5ln rem sleep is pretty close but not quite the same in REM sleep your brain goes trough a specific process. hypnosis is like meditation , relaxation and brainwash: different state of the mind. its very sad that people always think its fake because they never experience it in a clear fashion. Why such strong beliefs ? believe nothing, because you never know when information will come along that contradicts a belief. When you believe something 100% you can't ever learn if it contradicts your beliefs. It's worth the effort to be open minded but not believe anything 100% either. You have hypnotism at 0% and that is your interpretation of reality. It reflects on you, not reality itself.
      If its fake why not go get hypnotised by an expert ? better than judging, and then shit talking online with no experience. How ? not something to be proud of and so abusive towards another person. I wish you well, emotions are good feedback for you to understand you, do you get it ? emotions like this seem out of your control and normal, and justifiable to yourself because its who you really are taking charge. Why so angry ? hateful ? its not healthy

    I've never been hyponotized, and I remain skeptical about hypnosis, but I do have experienced those very good sleep using those instructions he said on myself, "feeling all your muscles relaxed", and I do have experienced dreams where I though i was a dog, and woke up finding myself sleeping on the ground curled like a dog.

      Michael, pain control is, by far, the most common therapeutic use for Hypnosis. There are a wide variety of ways in which it can reduce, and sometimes eliminate both chronic and acute pain. Painless dentistry and childbirth being just two examples. Ernest Hilgard and his wife, Josephine, were two of the best known researchers and innovators in the field in modern times. But in the 1840's, before the advent of the chemical anesthesias, hypnosis was the preferred method of pain control in England.

    There's a simple psychology behind this phenomenon.
    The instructor constantly touches the subjects in a gentle manner which in turn makes the subjects more willing to go along with the act instead of resisting and appearing rude towards him and the audience.
    When he snaps his fingers, the eyes close by reflex. As the eyes are already closed, people feel it's easier to keep them closed and play the part rather than keeping them opened and feel embarrassed for not complying.
    Kind of like people acting agreeable out of kindness instead of disagreeing and appearing rude.
    People will always try to avoid conflict by nature.
    People usually don't like to be the center of attention when they don't feel they are in control. Because they lack the confidence to handle the situation, especially when a large audience is watching.
    As the subjects don't know what's about to happen, complying to the instructions like everyone else takes the eyes of themselves instead of failing to cooperate and becoming the center of attention. The audience may think they are deliberately trying to sabotage the set instead of working together as a team. Which gives the best impression?
    Also notice women and men are paired next to each other. People secretly want an excuse to let themselves fall into the lap of the opposite sex. And the simple fact of the individual believing in hypnosis may cause him/her to play along because they really WANT to believe it's real.
    Think of it this way... If simple gestures and words could make a grown man/woman involuntary bark like a dog, random people allover the world would do it at work, meetings, walking down the street, driving their cars, during conversations,... this does not happen!
    Nobody's in control of an individual's actions but the individual himself! People who are "hypnotized" only act this way because they either WANT to play along or have been paid to do so.

    • @pepetruth2916
      @pepetruth2916 5 лет назад +1

      great explanation. i think so too.. we are social creature, and we tend to follow along.

    • @Seth9809
      @Seth9809 5 лет назад +1

      I think you completely misunderstand what is going on.
      If you grabbed Tom Cruise and told him to laugh like this, he couldn't do it.
      He got them to do it by just asking.
      The fact you say "Think of it this way... If simple gestures and words could make a grown man/woman involuntary bark like a dog, random people allover the world would do it at work, meetings, walking down the street, driving their cars, during conversations,... this does not happen! Nobody's in control of an individual's actions but the individual himself! People who are "hypnotized" only act this way because they either WANT to play along or have been paid to do so."
      Means you think hypnosis is brainwashing, it's not. Brainwashing doesn't even exist, this exists.
      Hypnotism only works on people who play along, but they have no idea how they played along, just that they did.
      They laughed because they wanted to laugh, but they have no idea how they laughed.

      Pls do actual research before just writing out what u think is happening. Although your facts are pretty persuasive I know they are wrong. Many hypnotizers I’ve seen aren’t very experienced/good a hypnosis and u can tell that some people are just acting to fit in the group and not stand out but Anthony is great at what he does. When u compare him to many other hypnotizers u can tell that he’s the real deal and these people are truly hypnotized.

    I've already watched several clips with Mr Galie. He is very professional and impressive. But (as I've already said elsewhere) I can't be hypnotised - not everyone can be, and I believe Mr Galie agrees. Some of us are good visualisers but not suggestible.
    I actually took part once in a trial program, a test conducted by researchers into hypnotism. They were trained hypnotists, psychologists etc. I'd volunteered because I was curious: I wanted to know what hypnosis was like. But after two one-hour sessions (a week apart) they told me I couldn't be hypnotised. I apologized to them, they told me not everybody can be hypnotised, and a negative result was just as valid for their research as a positive one.
    I think Mr Galie selects his subjects among those who seem suggestible to him. I don't think he'd choose me. I only wish we could meet some day. I'd love to be hypnotised, to know what it's like.

There were 330,000 child victims of priest & employee abuse in France alone, according to public news reports, and according to the PA grand jury report, three priests utilized hypnosis, and medical credentials, in connection with abusing child victims. I am concerned that there could have been a significant number of child victims of priest hypnosis crimes in France, including some number of the 216,000 child victims of priest abuse in France alone. Could hypnosis techniques have also been utilized to discredit child victims of priest abuse in the U.S., France and worldwide?
