I am looking at this for my daughter who will be 10th grade next year. She is learning disabled and we do a lot together just want to make sure it is not too hard for her.
Thank you so much for your review! I feel a whole lot more confident in guiding my kids with this History class. You did an amazing detailed review. Very helpful! :-)
I've never really looked at MasterBooks for high school history, but I refuse to buy any MasterBooks products at this point, so I'm not the right person to ask.
@@EducationalRoots Totally understand. I'm going to stick with Notgrass. I keep going back to them over and over. So my gut must be telling me to stick with that choice.
@@EducationalRoots why are you no longer buying Master Books? I reviewed your video titles to find one that explains why, but all I found were videos saying that you are using Master Books.
@@username00009 Hi! I was boycotting Master Books for a while because I did not like how their company treated me. I have since started using some things again, but the people who run the company really don’t act like Christians.
Great video my friend...I may have to get this for my daughter next year for world history..it looks amazing and I know you always talk so highly of them.. so thank you for sharing and I look forward to more videos!!
Mama's Little Lambs Thank you for watching! I do love Notgrass. They are an amazing company who truly cares about their customers. Their love for Jesus shines through!
This was super helpful! We are going to use Notgrass Uncle Sam one next year but in 9th grade I am looking at to use them then too! Excited to get my hands on ours for next year soon!
I watched both of your flip throughs for American and World Histories, and you mentioned American being harder but not done this one yet. By what you HAVE seen do you think it’s easier than American? Also, does it tell them when and what to read for the extra books in the texts, like in the younger grades?
@@MuchFaith22 So if you plan to do any dual enrollment I learned something. Just skip American history, because they need that in college but don’t need world history. It makes a lot more sense to just do American history at the college junior or senior year and get double credit for it. So if it were me, I would do their geography for 9th grade, world history for 10th, and American history at your local community college for 11th.
I actually have not used this one. It was planned for this year but my daughter is doing an outside class instead. My other daughter did do Exploring America.
What about a teacher manual, answer keys?
There’s no separate teacher manual. There is an answer key book.
Do you think it would be okay for a Catholic to use this world history?
My initial reaction is yes, but of course I can’t say for sure if anything would go against your values.
Thank you! Great review🤩
megroux You’re welcome!
If you have used the matieral now, can you give an update with a real review, please.
Hi! We never used this because my daughter did a class instead. I love all things Notgrass though. :)

Exploring America has an audio book but Exploring WH doesn’t. However, if you have an IEP she can get Learning Ally and the audio is on there.

What is your opinion comparing Notgrass for H.S. history and Masterbooks for H.S history. I keep flip flopping.

I do not know why it is harder. That has been mentioned in the Notgrass Facebook group, but I do not know why. That’s just what I heard. :)
@@EducationalRoots Yeah I’ve heard that too! I’m trying to decide what order for my oldest 2, they’ll be going into 9th grade in 2022.

I literally laughed out loud. My kids are totally like that. Wha wha I didn't know
I don’t remember what I said! Ha!

Hello when you say high school this lesson is for high school. What grade does this start?
9th-12th
Thank you.
Did you use this for literature as well?
