You're so right! We are doing it! Like you I'm stepping into the surface pattern design world (from Graphic Design no less!). If all goes well I'll be taking Bonnie Christine's course next year. I'm excited to see what illustrations you come up with this year. 😊
Do you have an art background? I too want to enroll in this course but I never drew in my life. I recently checked the price of this course and it blew me away! $1997 is a lot of money!
I do not! Completely self-taught/newbie here. The course goes over so many ways to make art work for you though as you learn. I’ll be posting a full review soon!
Bonnie Christine has a few courses on skillshare. You can get 2 months for free and see if her classes are enough to start. And they are. There are also classes for surface pattern design by other artists using different techniques like Cat Couqulatte, Maja Faber, Mil Armstrong just to name a few.
