After Whitney was grown and had a baby of her own, she started having terrible dreams that they were going to be in a horrible car accident. Little did they know just how soon that would be.

Sister Mariann is far more forgiving than I can see myself ever being. It is beyond my comprehension to understand how it is possible to experience that much grief and tragedy without becoming bitter. I am very humbled by having to face the fact that I require so much self-improvement before I can be even half as strong as Sister Mariann is.
I'm a Dutch man living in The Netherlands. I'm not a member of your church but I love your podcast, and I've seen quite a few episodes now (at least half of them). I've heard many wonderful stories here, but this one is really special. Yes, it's heartbreaking, but also very beautiful. It's as if the sadness of the story transcends into love, if that makes sense. So, please make sure the Latter-Day Lights keep on shining.

Thank you so much for your comment…we ALL have a long way to go…that’s why Gods grace and mercy is such a wonderful blessing. He meets us where we’re at right at this moment. Forgiving others is so important for us to be able to move forward, even forgiving ourselves…if we choose not to forgive…then we stay the victim…that being said, forgiveness is not easy. That’s why I rely on my Savior…I ask Him daily to walk with me to help me with the things that are hard…I couldn’t have withstood my trials without Him and I also recognize the beautiful blessings He gives me daily. It doesn’t stop the hurt…but, I can receive peace in Him. Thank you for sharing your feelings…may you always be blessed by our loving Savior. 💜
